OOC: No. Sapient-centrism. Just because some animals are sapient, does not mean all animals were sapient, or even that all sapients were animals. (AIs for example, can be sapients, and I literally have a sapient plant hivemind as a side account.) There is a resolution for determining sapiency, on individual basis if necessary, and granting "human rights" to all sapients, not just humans.
