Definitely suspicious. Given the opening clause it’s unfortunate to see a resolution being driven by spite rather than good faith arguments.

I already went over this before as to why I hate abortions and believe they should be born and put up for adoption so that they have a chance to live unless the health of the mother is in fatal danger. (meaning they know she would die if they try to go through with the childbirth)

I swear if this gets to a vote and passes I will remove myself from the WA once and for all.

It's one thing to support abortion yourself (which I don't both IC and OOC) but it is entirely another to try and force everyone else to support it whether they want to or less.

Let's just say Wars have happened for less and if it does pass me and many others will go to war against those who try to enforce it.

All life is sacred.

They all deserve the chance to live whether they turn into allies or enemies.

Whether that is true or not it doesn't change my stance on it. Nothing ever will.

Trying to force this is a breach of National Sovereignty and will be dealt with as such if it gets to that point.

In fact a lot of the recent WA stuff has been breaches of National Sovereignty whether we agree with them or not.

OOC: Could do a RP War about it in the "International Incident" forum if it is passed. Wanted to do a sequel to the last one I started there and the WA trying to enforce it could be what starts it.

So in your mind this is a measured response to years of shit-faith arguments, god-moding, non-creative non-compliance etc. from the anti-choice advocates?

OOC: ...can someone please explain how this thread swelled to 32 pages and if I should read the last 10 of them or is it just two sides sniping at each other?

IC: "Given that in Araraukar abortions are conducted in normal healthcenters and hospitals, is that enough to count for the purposes of this proposal, or do we have to build some special "abortion clinics"? Doing so would kinda defeat the point of having all gynecological services in the same location."

OOC: The IC thing above is how it's in Finland. I've never understood why any other way would be considered sensible.

In reality this measure is the bad-faith argument.

Other nations which do that are compliant with the resolution already, if they further comply with section 2. However, because of section 24601, the nation of Araraukar will be required to ordain new temples to Jupiter in every hamlet, create new abortion clinics every five square miles, and must contract those services to Javert Construction Enterprises Limited.

OOC: I don't know about abortion but the state should definitely pay for contraception, its benifits in preventing STDs and overpopulation definitely make it something any reasonably state should pay for.
Edit: plus contraception reduces the need for abortion.
