I have literally no idea how this terrible excuse for badge hunting disgused as an "April Fools joke resolution" so quickly made it to quorum, but then I've been around here long enough it doesn't exactly surprise me.

Besides the fact that it’s clearly an April Fools’ joke and Dom said he doesn’t care if it passes...

And that, considering his writing quality, if he wanted to "badge hunt" there are more worthy candidates I’m sure he could write about.

In addition, badge hunting is a-ok if the resolution is still of a certain quality. Someone’s gotta write it. A little ambition isn’t bad.

As I've previously said multiple times, the goal here was to get that this at vote at the appropriate time, not passage of it. It passing is at most an amusing bonus, but wasn't the goal.
