For anyone wondering what's going on, the author of this repeal made comments on the public NSGP Discord comparing those justifying fashbashing to those that victim-blame in cases of rape.

I am being blacklisted over a remark that hurt no one, was mischaracterised, which I still retracted, and for which I have expressed remorse and apologies far more than should have been necessary.

Nobody has called for your blacklisting. I'm not even sure you know what it is if you think fighting your proposals for your words and actions is blacklisting. Your attempts at reconciliation are heartily rejected if you really think nobody got hurt and that there is a quota for apologies that you shouldn't have to meet past your own personal opinion.

Being blacklisted is not the same as not supporting a resolution written by a problematic author. It is possible to lose a vote through an entirely preventable circumstance and still exist as a member in the NS community. But the context of who is writing a resolution, what their aims are, what their rhetoric is, etc can be as important as the content of the resolution itself.

I'm particularly disappointed with TEP and XKI, as I can rember when TEP's ministy was actually capable of critically analyzing things instead of being utterly credulous, and as for XKI throwing one of your own members under the bus, because if a smear you know to be wrong, purely because you care more about your appearance to other regions and think it's necessary "to pursue other more important agendas" is the height of cowardice, and utterly selfish.

So? Being a pacific doesn't mean being benvolent, nor does it mean your WA ministry is effective. I can't speak for TSP. TWP and TNP are ideologically opposed, TP is still using antifasism to cleanse themselves so we'd expect them to be against regardless. TEP's WA ministry has declined severely since yuno left, and can't effectively advise the delegate.

You know that I am the deputy WA minister for TEP? I can in fact speak to it's efficacy. It's been gutted since Fedele, and while Libertanny has improved things in regard to the relationship between the delegate and the ministry, it hasn't reversed the decline of the ministry itself. We no longer have a staff of analysts and basically just parrot whoever's loudest on the forum.

I would be interested in hearing your reasoning for why calling TNP 'ideologically opposed' to this.

It's also very much worth noting that a number of people weren't opposed to this before MG opened his mouth and said something dumb and then whined when asked to apologise properly about it. That's what roused the opposition of prominent members of TP and lost MG the support of TSP.

As an SC repeal cannot itself be repealed and authorship credit lasts forever, the behavior of an author is especially important to a lot of regions. This cannot be a surprise to anyone involved in the WA in any capacity.
