While what you say has some truth to it, the vast majority of TRR citizens cannot be labelled as such. TRR has built up a unique culture over the years, something that should be recognised.

Unfortunately, like the author’s previous attempts to Commend them, this proposal falls far short of properly recognizing the quality that the region possesses.

No one said the rejected realms was a prison meant for delinquents. Your comment are very misleading and fails to account the different reasoning a person or player bans ppl.

I do not think it is a 'prison,' I am fully aware that nations that do not desire to be in TRR can just leave. For that reason, I stand with what I said earlier, because everyone in that region has chosen to accept the racist, fascists, and trolling nations. Even if the majority of the TRR is not.

I feel like all regions have a culture of some sort. I don't think its enough for a commendation though.

You say that as if we have a choice in the matter. What would you have us do? Eject them? Ban them? Oh wait- it appears we have never had that luxury.

Every region does have its culture. However we built ours from the outcasts, rejected and unwanted of the entire NationStates world. Long ago, back in 2003 celebrated rejects like Crazygirl (a former game mod even!) came together and made The Rejected Realms a region independent of foreign control. This became the foundation for The Rejected Realms as we know it today. We couldn't pick and choose which nations were "good enough" to stay like literally every other region can. So we looked at what we had and ran with it. We used that as a basis for a culture spent giving second chances to the unforgivable and guess what? It didn't just work. Our region flourished. No other region can honestly make such a claim. That is most certainly worthy of commendation.

You do understand that the only alternative to them accepting the racists, fascists, and trolls would involve leaving the region, allowing the racists, fascists, and trolls to take control, correct?

As for the propaganda that we had the first military of ALL TIME in NationStates, I'm glad to see it's spreading well. Though, technically, The current TRR doesn't even have a military as the RRA insists it is a separate entity to the government since the beginning OF TIME ITSELF.

Although it has imrpoved significantly since initial drafts, the included clauses do not provide any overwhelming reasons for why The Rejected Realms are deserving of a commendation. Also, the author's crediblity (previous indecisiveness regarding putting forward this proposal) and their general lack of in-depth knowledge of The Rejected Realms has done nothing other than convince the Foreign Ministry from not even presenting this to the Prime Minister."
