[PASSED] Commend Lyras + Thank You!

Postby Kostrorleauny » Sat Jan 05, 2019 12:53 pm

First off, I'd like to offer up a message of thanks to everyone who is some way, shape, or form assisted in leading the campaign for a commendation on Lyras towards being successful. Had it not been for the 12,953 World Assembly votes who sought to push my proposal into the Security Council's favour then I would not be here and be able to call myself a one-time accomplished Security Council resolution author.

To the 2,038 World Assembly votes that stood in opposition to the passage of such resolution, I can only express my understanding for why you chose to vote the way you chose... as is at your rightful discretion. Being honest, I didn't think those voting against would break the threshold of 2,000 votes. But hey, you all proved me wrong so I thank you for that.

Anyhow, conclusively, I'm pleased to call my first venture into the Security Council a success. On a greater scale, with the World Assembly at large, I can say that with this accomplishment as an author does not come complete satisfaction on the part of myself as I will continue to seek to author well-written, well-researched, and well-deserved/needed resolutions in the future.

I put out quality, not quantity. So for everyone who supported Lyras and observed his outstanding contributions to the world of NationStates, I offer my thanks and appreciation. If you want to see their new distinction on nominee's nation page, look here
