The scam revealed by Kuramia's post is extremely disturbing. We already knew that Consular was willing to make false and misleading statements in order to perpetrate this fraud against the NationStates public. Now we know that he is willing to go a step further - impersonation of the LKE and literally fabricating evidence that the LKE re-founded Slavia.

This may be a bit hypocritical of me to say, but if you really believe there to have been impersonation, you're much obliged to report it as impersonation is explicitly prohibited by the TOS of NS. The relevant paragraph can be seen below:

You may submit content to NationStates.net so long as it is not obscene, illegal, threatening, malicious, or defamatory, does not invade the privacy or infringe the intellectual property of a third party, and does not constitute "spam." You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, attempt to "hack" the site or another player's account, nor otherwise mislead as to the origin of information.

I can only hope that you realise the seriousness of such an accusation.

Of course it is impersonation for Consular and whoever controls the founder nation to pretend that they are LKE when they are not LKE. Impersonation is pretending to be someone (or in this case, a region) that you are not. In the ordinary sense of the word, it is straightforward impersonation.

Regardless, the fraud and the fabrication of evidence should be of interest to all voters on this resolution. A resolution based on a scam should not pass.

I am disappointed at the language that made it's way into the resolution and could have easily been swayed by LKE's response and believed that this was little more than a personal vendetta. However given the extensive examples given and after much research, I believe the veracity of the claims in the resolution. Despite my initial objections over the motive of the condemnation, I agree with Consular's resolution.

Personally I feel like it's more appropriate to wait for an answer as to why someone would feel the need to go out of their way to outright fabricate something to make someone else look bad just to bolster their argument before I would write something.

Tentatively withdrawing my support for this particular proposal and voting against it, based on the apparent falsification of that screen shot. If Consular can produce some explanation for this that isn't falsification, then I'll support the proposal again, but I'm struggling to see any other possible explanation.

I’ve been watching this all unfold for a while now heck I received a telegram asking for support of this resolution. I don’t know which side will win the vote but what I do know is that the vote will be close.

We at Fulford hereby change our vote to be against the condemnation of The Land Of Kings and Emperors due to the false evidence given against them.

While we do not agree with the LKE's aggressive actions in the past, creating false evidence is not okay and we will not vote for a condemnation with such false evidence.

I still support condemnation of The LKE in principle, but falsifying evidence is not okay. Hopefully someone else will draft a more accurate condemnation.
