What is with the August bit? I thought it was a reference to the August Revolution and some NPO guys in the distant past made it into a meme, and the old guys now just fell for whatever fake reason was given to them and included it in SC resolutions. It's especially fitting in this one as it was where the NPO came to being, and Xoriet is NPO.

Regardless of origin (my search also indicates French revolution stuff), it's a bit tacky, inaccurate date-wise, and we have a prominent player going by the name August.

Edit: No way it's some old meme, it's been used about 7 times (as a non-date or name) according to my search, the first in 2013 and mostly in the last year or so.
Edit2: The GA records are similar, only been used 25 times in the GA, and about half of those are from one author.

I was going by usage in passed/repealed resolutions actually, of which the SC has the mentioned 25, NSUN has none, and GA has 25.

I meant that we have an active player named August, it's a bit weird to use a phrase that's a play on that

"August" has a dictionary meaning of "inspiring respect and admiration". I don't think its an NPO reference, not sure where you got that from.

I would think “detag” is compliant. Pretty sure “tag” or “tag raid” has been used before.

I was hesitant to mark this legal because of "detag", but, as pointed out, several previous resolutions do use the phrase "tag raid". I'd call that a precedent.

I am not, no. The other part is for regional subversion and political plotting, but for the most part they serve as rather odd forms of being friends with people.
