[PASSED] Liberate The Monarchist Entente

Postby Lenlyvit » Mon Apr 16, 2018 12:22 pm

I have drafted this proposal after a debate on whether or not it would be needed, and it seems likely that it will be needed. As of now, The Monarchist Entente is being occupied by TRE, TI, USSD, and their various allies. I will attempt to contact native nations to see if they will support the liberation.

The Security Council,

Noticing the massive occupation of The Monarchist Entente by raider forces;

Horrified by the make-up of the occupying forces, comprised of not one, not two, but three regions internationally blacklisted for various offenses;

Distressed that an end to the occupation seems nowhere in sight and that The Monarchist Entente, occupied by over 109 invading nations, will become a trophy region to the invader forces with all 40 native nations being removed from their home;

Believing that a liberation, preventing a raider imposed password upon the region, is one of the few viable options remaining;

Hereby Liberates The Monarchist Entente

The Security Council,

Noticing the massive occupation of The Monarchist Entente by raider forces;

Horrified by the make-up of the occupying forces, comprised of not one, not two, but three internationally blacklisted regions for various offenses;

Distressed by the removal of native nations from their home, including the native World Assembly Delegate New Rhodoks;

Afraid that The Monarchist Entente, occupied by over 80 invading nations, will become a trophy region to the invader forces with all 40 native nations being removed from their home;

Hereby Liberates The Monarchist Entente

Edit 1&2: Added the Believing clause
Edit 3&4&5: Fixed the distressed clause

As long as the natives want it, I’m in support.

On another note, good job on not giving the blacklisted organizations any name recognition.

Thank you. I've sent telegrams to the active natives, as well as the native delegate and the one native that moved out. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon.

Thank you for responding to my telegram! I hope we can truly help TME either through this proposal or through a quick liberation.

P.S. Ka Lanakila is a TME native.

Two extremely minor nitpicks. One:
three internationally blacklisted regions internationally blacklisted for various offenses;

Two, I'm not a fan of "Afraid". I'm certainly not afraid. :ugeek:

Native support = full support.

This is actually what Liberations were originally supposed to do, unlike some of the stuff floating around here lately.

Making fun of defenders for utilizing SC liberations the way they were intended to? Are we stooping to this level of disingenuity now?

Yes. If nations cannot hold onto a delegacy due to endorsement count, then they are not the elected delegate. That's the core foundation of gameplay mechanics. When a loud few complained, an act of god created the Security Council and thus manipulated the rules to benefit these nations. In the context of raiding, defenders turn to this unnatural authority to do what they themselves cannot.
