Wintony did virtually nothing to end Illuminati. The player is very inactive and he was removed from Illuminati for inactivity. The facts here are false. Wintony has done little for NS as a whole except found Exodus, and even then he had a hands off approach and contributed little to it's government and structure. It should also be noted his Foundership in Exodus lead to long bouts of inactivity and political stagnation as well.

This commendation is a sham and is only being pushed through by Kawaii and his closer friends for entertainment. I'll cite the Illuminati RMB for actual historical facts as to Wintonies insignificants. Ratification of this will only weaken the value and meaning of a commendation down to cheap recognitions by friends for fun as opposed to significant game changing players.

Hell, Kawaii, you have done far and beyond what Wintony could only ever dream of as a player, in between his weeks of inactivity. I understand you feeling nostalgic, but cheating the commendation process isn't the way to go. I encourage a retraction.

Wintony, in fact made it a point throughout his NS life to distance himself from Illuminati, in between his bouts of inactivity. This whole thing is a lie.

Not at all! Illuminati has long been known for OOC harassment. Forum spam, sexual harassment, you name it they've probably have done it, and were it not for wintony's leadership, it may have continued to this day.

Opposed. I've been involved in multiple regional and inter-regional squabbles of similar or larger scope judging by the size of both of the regions referenced in this resolution. I did not then and do not now consider my political successes in said squabbles to be worthy of a commendation. Ditto to a large number of my acquaintances through NS. While I would not go so far as to support a repeal in the event that this commendation passes, I do believe it to be somewhat frivolous and unearned. Then again, I could be missing something.

I appreciate the feedback, Fahran. To tell you the truth, I don't, or rather I suppose now, didn't expect many to understand and sympathize with the work we put into the destruction of the region. To many outsiders unaware of the inner-workings of Illuminati, this may seem like some typical UCR drama. However, there's a lot that goes into this. I have a hard time explaining my NS history because the events that transpired in my time in Illuminati/Exodus were very complicated and involve such a long story, much of which requires a great deal of context and backstory. I would almost want to say it was one of things you just had to be there and involved with in order to fully understand. I don't expect everyone to by any means, but I guess it really doesn't matter. It impacted me and a hundred others, we fought a formidable opponent even when the odds were stacked against us, and it's thanks to Wintony that we won.

For what it's worth to Rhyphix/Abraxim, he's certainly given me more than I had bargained for in a political browser game.

I don't support resolutions that aren't written like resolutions, and I don't support commendations for destroying regions. I will be voting against this.

There will be a section in The Compendium that will go into detail about the events in Illuminati that I couldn't write about in the resolution due to character limit. The story is long, but interesting to say the least, and details how I was personally thrown into this game, and what I and a group of us had did in order to bring down one of the game's largest and most notorious UCRs of the time. I had an overall enjoyable experience writing this resolution and may consider doing another in the future, but taking in consideration the feedback I got from this one.

I would be more than happy to hear your specific criticisms, I don't see any reason this isn't written "like a resolution," it certainly is a resolution now ,and I went about writing like past resolutions I've read. Furthermore, making these kinds of comments are most helpful and effective before the resolution is submitted, I can't make any changes to it now. Your comment aslo rubs me the wrong way, I don't understand your tone. Unless you are directly affected by the contents of the resolution, I'm unsure why you would be so upset with it. I've treated the resolution with all the respect of the others, and have continuously ensured its legality.

As for commending Wintony for the destruction of Illuminati, it's just as I said before in an earlier comment, I didn't go in expecting everyone to fully understand why that was commendable, but I did my best to try and explain it through this resolution, which hey, I get it, it's probably not the best one out there because this was my first one ever. So I would ask that you be patient, not only to me, but with other new writers as well. If you want to prevent "bad quality", however you make that personal assessment, then be sure to give constructive feedback when it is most effective, and guide us new writers in what makes a good resolution.

At any rate, it will likely be a while before I write any GA or SC resolution again, I by no means have any intention of dumping out 100+ proposals to commend/condemn anyone either. This was just something important to me that I had and wanted to do for over years now.
