It is not a given that this will lead to targeting any other ideology, because in order to target another ideology it would have to be separately targeted. And there appears to be NO appetite in the SC for using liberations to combat anything but Nazis.

For a "non-Nazi" region, they sure post Nazi propaganda, jokes, rhetoric, and topics way too much.

However, Kaiserreich's obvious closet fascist leanings aren't the issue. Nazi Europa is 100% pure Nazi. Nobody even tries to deny that. Nazi Europa's community should be used to being cracked by the SC by now anyway, just perhaps not when the founder is still alive.

Do you even know how those screenshots came about? Kaiserreich invited a Pacifican ambassador to their server to prove they weren't Nazi. A thorough inspection of the server displayed a copious array of what I mentioned above. It was not particularly convincing evidence that they have no connection to Nazis.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I wouldn't tolerate this in my own region's server, and I don't find it to be a normal thing.

For the record, and admittedly post-passage, the above is NOT how precedent works in legal terms. Not at all.

Precedent isn't about WHOM was the target of a piece of legislation, it's about the HOW in which you use it.

IF you successfully use a law originally designed to remove passwords from a founderless region during a raid, and apply it to remove passwords from founder-controlled regions on the basis of disliking who they are, i.e. and to whit:"…targets Nazis and Nazism", then you've redefined the application for what the original law was intended. You've set what constitutes a legal precedent.

Based on this new application of the Liberation, you can now use it against A) any region that's under siege from an invading force or B) "target" any region the WASC now or in the future, has a problem with. Sure, it's not likely to happen with the current left-wing control of the WASC, but as happens in RL, people's views can shift.
