Despite the fact that Wrapper locked one of my threads for what I considered purely arbitrary reasons, the wording of the proposal reads like an ad hominem attack based upon a personal dislike of Wrapper. The draft assumes definitions upon which there is clearly no consensual agreement. For those reasons, Sherlock Quixote is opposed.

A personal dislike? In real life? Heh heh heh heh. Nothing could be farther from the truth!

Herby's doors and windows are ALWAYS locked when she's in the Strangers' Bar (unless she unlocks them for you). And, she has no accelerator, a mock steering wheel, and no gear shifter. So, no joyrides.

Your awkward WA forum in-jokes don't belong in a Condemn proposal, guys. It just makes it cringe-worthy, and easier to repeal.

Incorrect. As moderator Mallorea and Riva state there is confusion on this point and they provide a good example in this section. I first discovered the impact when I was a WA member under the name 'Megacorp' or 'Megacorp International' and saw my government category altered upon the passing of a WA resolution as prior I had stopped responding to naton issues having achieved the desired corporate government form.

Okay, I’ve got to step in and correct factual inaccuracy. You’re confused. General Assembly legislation impacts stats. Condemnations/commendations do nothing stats wise.

Overall, my intent was not to cause such offense to Wrapper, you, or this August Assembly and I’m truly sorry I did offend you.

Commended by SC 236,

You've not offended, and my response to Oresland was in regards to stats as his [Oresland's] direct statement was that WA resolutions don't impact member stats and thus I provided a link detailing which stats are impacted by what category of resolution. Wrapper himself isn't offended, he's TGed me personally to state that he's not. No one is presently offended though I did initially freak out and am thankful that you handled it so well on the regional discussion thread. The appeal it's self provides greater detail on my position.

In insisting it's a political simulation, NS ignores its reality as a political simulation game. Games have boundaries, and modern roleplaying games have safety tools. NS has neither, leaving it stuck as a badge-collecting pay-to-win where causticness is excused as "character," griefing/raiding is "just politics," and F7 is more courteous than General Assembly.

I said those clauses make it easier to repeal. I didn't say the proposal would be easy to repeal. Try reading next time.

Ehhhhh lighten up Francis. If we can get a chuckle outta GA regulars, Marvel fanboys/fangirls and karaoke haters (OOC Seriously, you ever been to a karaoke bar? I passed by one in a cruise ship once and hoo boy talk about cringe-worthy!) then it was all worth it. Besides 12000ish votes can’t all be wrong!

Condemnations are badges of honor, like commendations. They're for playing the game in an 'evil' manner.

It is NOT just whoever is the worst player. Recent examples include the repeals of condemnations of raiders who used Predator. The logic was that they cheated, so they don't deserve a condemnation.

It is also worth noting that often times, commendations are also repealed after what some consider OOC acts.

A condemnation, if there are no penalties attached, will remain as a badge of honor, and doesn't really hinder the recipient in any way.

I voted for this because Wrapper is nice.
Stop giving misogynistic abusers a platform. Anyone who sides with Tiktok Star Andrew Tate even 1% of what he says will be treated as enemy who should be shamed out of society. Impressions+Views+Videowatches=$. Nothing he says is new or revolutionary. I don't care if he said "some good stuff", it's still bad because: the more you watch him, the more ad revenue MONEY and algorithm BOOSTS you're giving him to traffick victims. And don't say the victim lied, a young man stupidly told me that the victim confessed to lying, I told em to link me proof, articles or the Audio of her confession, he googled and found 0 proof 0 articles, and he realized he was spreading fake rumors he heard and BELIEVED without fact-check. Don't brand victims as liars without GOOGLING. Debated here

Condemn Wrapper was passed 13,834 votes to 4,038.

I 100% thought the vote total would be reversed. I'm glad NS has such a sense of humor. Or is taking this way to seriously. Not sure which. Anyways, glad this is on the books. I think I might have to resign from authoring SC proposals though, as it is clearly all downhill for me from here.

Also so much credit to my co-author Herby, this as all their idea, I just made some mediocre words.

Well now. I honestly don't know whether to say "you guys suck" or "woo hoo, thanks." I never realized I was both so popular and so reviled.

Ransium, job well done.

Herby...

Although I must agree a little bit with Syl, you two did go a little overboard including Groot and Drane. The Ritual Sacrifice resolution is one thing, but the hurricane relief jar, there was a story there I was going to post in the Bar but never got around to it, something about Drane losing his home. Minor quibbles, not going to dwell on it, so you shouldn't either. Overall, a fine effort.

Now if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to accidentally ban a few nations and lock some random threads. You know, bumbling incompetence and all that.
