I'm referencing the extent to which Rachel and Europeia have helped to influence and 'remake' the North Pacific. (1) The alliances with Europeia and Balder now hold a privileged status in the North Pacific, (2) the North Pacific has avoided taking anti-coup stances in the South Pacific and Lazarus that would put them at odds with Rachel's world view, (3) Balder and Europeia are exploiting TNP's votes through WALL, (4) the North Pacific works closely alongside Europeia and Balder militarily - the most recent example being the Yorkshire invasion and the Federal Union of Africa mission. Individuals like Rachel, r3n, Sanctaria, and Mousebumbles have played a role in hollowing out TNP's autonomy from the inside out. The North Pacific used to be far more autonomist, internationalist and pro-democratic. The only recognizable continuity between the old TNP and today's TNP are superficial, anachronistic insignia and trappings. The North Pacific does what the Independentists say, says what the Independentists think, and thinks what the Independentists believe. I do believe in time, a local resistance - a backlash - to Independentism will form in the North Pacific - and Rachel, r3n and others will be held in contempt as imperialists that exploited, suppressed, and reprogrammed the North Pacific; they're simply standing on the consecutive successes of the Eluvatar and McMasterdonia administrations as a platform for their own weltpolitik.

You're the Minister of Defense - a commanding figure in the NPA. What I'll say is, if you, your office, and your army exercise its autonomy from Europeia and Balder, I don't think it'll go well.

You, not I, however are in a position to prove me (an irrelevant old fart) wrong. Nevertheless, as an ex-TSP official (a cabinet minister during the Tsunamy and Kringalia administrations that broke from TNI) and an ex-TNP official (TNP's WA recommendations were first written by me), I've lived through this stuff - I've seen how their imperialism works and the scope to which it compromises a regions' independence.
