Not necessarily. TBH still has recruitment and their reputation as a major raiding organization, not just from its condemnation.

What is this profit you speak of? Raiders raid for the exhilarating excitement of it all, not just because they want a badge of honor.

The profit I mention is the excitement, they will be less successful in raids and more inclined to get there excitement from other places if we protect our realms and deal raiding clans the same dish they server before the problem gets to out of hand.

They are hardly the only major raiding organization or the first for that matter, people will be more likely to join up with other raiding organizations like The Romans or just the recent "The Raiders" clan. Either way.

The ambassador stops to stare at the Atlae Isles representative

We should be working as a Security Council to ensure the Security of nations under the dominion of the world assembly against this threat. If not, then what is the use of a security council if it doesn't provide security? To stroke some up and coming nation's ego? Bah.

OOC: I can't really respond IC since that would be metagaming, so I will be frank here.

Raiders do not raid for condemnations. Repealing a condemnation will not affect the performance at raiding. After all, I raid for TWPAF, and we're pretty good, but we haven't been condemned yet. :P

They aren't the only major raiding organization, but they are the most famous, with more and more creative raids. After all, TRE doesn't hold the record for the most tagged regions in one update. Nor does it hold any record for breaking delegate streaks.

Bah humbug. The Security Council was and will always be a place to honor people for gameplay accomplishments, with a few liberations added in here and there.

FTFY.

I think it's important to note that the SC isn't for only GP. The general sentiment is that it would be nice to branch out more and be far more inclusive to other parts of the game.

Thanks for clearing that up, Dras.

Plenty of nations have been condemned or commended for their IC achievements and actions; the SC doesn't just target GPers

I personally think it should be a place focused on liberation, what good is honoring someone if we can't protect our own. I see what you mean but, how many people are drawn to your gang compared to other raider organizations with condemnations. Any organization can call it's self good without backing as they do.

True. Very true. Forgot to mention that, thanks Dras. :)

That's the price to pay for going out there alone and without proper region protections.

Yep. I'll probably write up a thing later.

Unless I say they do, in which case, there is a nonzero chance.
