I'm torn on this resolution. I would've thought the intitial reaction of many of the old nations would be "leave the Predator in the past" but I guess not... on the other hand, do I feel this is too meta?

I am the player that provided Predator to then-"tech modling" Eluvatar in 2015, and sparked the investigation further in 2016 by mentioning that the program required authorization by a Delete-on-Sight player to function. This, amongst other questionable goings-on in raiding at that point, is why I couldn't stomach participating in raiding anymore and became a defender.
We must repeal SC#127 (TBR), SC#165 (Halcones), and SC#194 (Kknight) as well, to truly remove these cheaters from having the recognition they do not deserve.

Does Gest even exist anymore?
I think it's set that the name Gest can't even be used as it is "soiled".

Nope. The account of Gest was deleted, but lives on as
Gest II. An account deleted by moderators is deemed "soiled" and is never to be used again.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but this appears to be a resolution telling nations "If I'm bad enough to get condemned and then get blacklisted from enough raider regions, I can get my condemnation repealed". Please, please correct me if I'm wrong, which I know I probably am, but that is just what it appears at first glance.

It's saying that the only reason he was feared to begin with - enough to warrant a condemnation at least - was because he was using illegal tools to get a leg up on the competition. People like Gest almost got all of military gameplay banned permanently from the game. We should hardly be honoring their names by giving them a badge. They need to be wiped from history.

Even then there is nothing here that would lead people back to TBH except for the claim made there. Author is not TBH. Gest is not TBH. Neither the proposal or the repeal mention TBH. I have no clue where you got that this was remotely related to TBH, much less a publicity stunt. Some people just see the things they hate everywhere they look I guess.
In regards to proposal, full support of this effort, might draft up a repeal myself to save you some time. Keep up the good work Mr. Boom Man

Deleted for cheating using an illegal API script (weapon that violates international law), not some little flaming thing. They were banned from the WA for a year and (I think) got all their nations deleted (a puppetsweep). It's a serious violation of the rules.
