Since voting has nearly closed, why did everyone vote against :?:

There is no reason to support the proposal. We aren't a colony of DankMemes, we have no reason to liberate whatever they want to liberate for no reason, like the proposer of this thinks. Also, proposal has no native support. Many more reasons too.

Though I suspect we'll get told that this really wasn't a defeat but a great victory for Dank Memes or some such crap.

Proof of native support is my majority qualifier when it comes to voting for/against liberations (and their repeals). This proposed liberation had no native support/no evidence of natives to return the The Bee Land to if the liberation passed.

After that, it was a matter of the poor argument that Aimdar-Goomdar put forth. The Mafia was fairly up-front about the fact that while they did eject the two remaining natives, both were on the brink of CTEing; if that had happened, the region would've also CTE'd. When finally pressed hard enough about the lack of natives to return the region to, Aimdar-Goomdar said they were going to repopulate the region with nations that would somehow magically be more legitimate than the ones The Mafia had in there and therefore become "new natives" -- AG didn't even seem to know who the kicked natives were. All evidence seemed to point to that AG/the Dank Memes collective didn't know or care about The Bee Land, and its impending CTE, until after The Mafia got ahold of it.

In the absence of natives to return the region to, I was more inclined to let The Mafia keep it because they were the ones who saved it from CTE; it was going to be a trophy region either way.

Likely. Or that this "really wasn't so important".
The Riser delegate stands at just over six and a half feet tall and bears a vaguely humanoid shape. All other features are obscured by layers upon layers of elaborate robes and veils in varying patterns and weaves of silver, the hands are covered with meticulously wrapped strips of cloth so that only the tips of short nails are exposed, and even the voice is ambiguous. The plate on the Riser delegate's desk bears the Romanization "M'yullouand'inthouahuynn y yht Shoa Vouaniya A'alayoulin Luath'louad". Stuck to that, there is a large blue Post-it note with elegant handwriting that reads "Do not bother to try and pronounce this one's title. This one is simply the Riser delegate.".

Finally.

Some idiot had said before that this was more important than Condemn the CAIN. This was defeated faster than Condemn the CAIN, and I didn't even get a chance to vote on it. I find it funny some people put crap like this ahead of (equally crappy proposals) but expect something like this to be worth someone's time.

Still, raider regions are essential to NationStates. It's exactly like Fascism/Nazism: You can try to eliminate or exterminate it, but it's here to stay, and we actually will/do need it.
Be radical, have principles, be absolute, be that which the bourgeoisie calls an extremist: Give yourself without counting or calculating, don't accept what they call ‘the reality of life' and act in such a way that you won't be accepted by that kind of ‘life', never abandon the principle of struggle. — Julius Evola

This was indeed a defeat. DankMemes will continue to monitor The Bee Land, however, if it happens to be refounded.

Hmmmm!

We have known that those regions have been occupied. However, due to unhealthy relations between DankMemes and The Order of the Grey Wardens, I would find it highly unlikely that our regions, if ever, would coordinate an allied effort liberating Nations Without a Region since the Occupation of Dank Memes. It could be possible, but it would still be highly unlikely.

Secondly, Liberate Coastalia has already gone through the proposal stage but has not passed. We, of course, would be interested in submitting another Liberation proposal for that region, but at this time, it seems that hawking its refound is best.

Aww, is DankMemes not friends with grey wardens? What a shame. Is that because of that one time you handed your region to nazis on a silver platter?

Indeed, this is the case. However, our region will strive to move on from our past.

That and managed to leak the details of a Grey Warden operation.

I do admit to have spammed the Discord of the Grey Wardens, HYDRA Command, and the USSD, which I rather regret to have done, but to this day, I have never known what Grey Warden operation I leaked, and how I did it - I was simply given no evidence. If possible, I'd like to see what happened in a PM by the respective participants of the Grey Wardens when I did leak the operation.
