The gap is back to <200 votes.
While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.

What a precedent. Now, to avert any liberation repeal, all a raider region has to do is take over the region whilst its being voted upon. If they succeed and the repeal passes, then they get a free region. If they fail and the repeal passes, then so what, it would have been that way anyway. If they succeed and the repeal fails, they get a spotlight as everyone clamours to turn the clock back.

Update: We're fairly safe into the AGAINST category. Thank you guys for reacting so quickly to TI's move into Eternal Scholars. Had we known that this would happen, we would've taken dozens of precautions before this was put up to vote. Again, let's not pop the champagne as Kaboomlandia said and let's keep working on getting a firm hold on the Against vote.

For those who are still uncomfortable about the fact that both me and Sygian are raiders (and hold the belief that we may have conspired to troll the WA community for the keks), just for the record here, The Invaders operate in a different part of the Raiderverse than HYDRA Command and The Black Hawks. They work with different people, they have a different history, and they run their organization much more differently than we do. We have close to zero ties with them.

That's assuming a raid *can* be scrambled on said target. Generally liberation repeals occur when a region is reasonably secure. If a lib is repealed on a region with a 40e delegate, unless you've got a sleeper ready, that's a lot of e to raise in 4ish days (quorum and vote). A simple solution would be for defenders to just pile up lib targets while in queue as a preventative safety measure.

Given the ongoing activities in the region which jeopardize the repeal of the liberation, The Royal World Estate votes against this resolution.

At the time I posted that, he/she had was at the top of the delegate voting record list voting FOR, so I was assuming there was either a switched vote or voting for the first time on it.
