The term Stateless in regards to a Socialist Society merely means freedom from any central coercive authority. A 'state', in Socialist conception of such, as a decentralized organizing body, may still exist, and that's what would be entered into the World Assembly.

The difference is that nomadic and nation state are not mutually exclusive. I would also like to point out that you are factually incorrect, nomadic nations have existed in the past.

Marxist Communism, however, results in a stateless society. You cannot be a stateless Nation-state, the two are mutually exclusive.

Just because something doesn't exist in real life, doesn't mean it couldn't or shouldn't exist in another reality thought up by someone else.

Unless the two components of said thing are mutually exclusive.

"True communism" (aside from sounding very much like "true Scotsman")

Well, Tinfect already said that the USSR, China, Cuba, etc. are not real Communist nations, so I suppose we were talking about "true Scotsman" Communists.

It also wouldn't be possible. No anarchic states can really exist in the World Assembly, which requires too many government services of nations. Excidium Planetis may be OOCly classed as an Anarchy (as a result of stat wanking), but it certainly can't ICly be one.

You go on to quote the section where I explain why that's bullshit, but, reading ahead, it appears that you didn't actually bother to read it yourself.

I literally just described what sort of state an Anarchic or Communist society would tolerate in the part that you quoted. I'm honestly not even sure what you're on about right now.

The phrases stateless society and state have literally opposing definitions.

Ooh, I'd so love to see someone who hasn't studied Socialist theory explain Socialist theory to me!

So, Confederate Systems and Local Governments can't exist, then?

I have studied international politics, including the paradigms of international relations, including the Marxist paradigm. I have also attended a standard American high school, where I received an education on World History (including the history of events surrounding communism and socialism) US government (including the impact of Communist and Socialist parties on the US), and economics (including Command versus Market Economies and Socialism versus Capitalism).

So, Confederate Systems and Local Governments can't exist, then?

Not in the WA. As subnational governments of WA nations, yes. As the sole governments of non-member states, perhaps. Don't make me drag out every resolution which requires central national governments to exist in member states.

Okay. That's great, I guess, but given that education regarding Socialism/Communism is near-universally pathetic here in the 'States, I can't really confirm whether or not the last of those means jack shit.

The American Educational system isn't exactly a beacon of quality.

I seriously doubt that a World History course gave any perspective on the development of Socialist Theory beyond "Things the USSR Did".

Which is about as valid as a course in Voodoo when it comes to Socialist theory.

OOC:
Try taking a course on Political Theory at an accredited university, then get back to us on what Marxist theories are. There's a difference between how you'd describe Marxist states in entry-level courses of IP (Where it's pretty much taken for granted that people who say they're Marxist and part of the Marxist bloc are also Marxists; essentially just having it be a name for a bloc), and Marxist ideology as you'd get it in Political Theory. It doesn't sound like you ever got to advanced IP courses, where the English School, constructivists or others would delve into the differences between people who claim the same ideology, and why they may not act together.
I don't give much for your high school diploma.

You guys are having an argument about what qualifies as a state and what doesn't. What does that have to do with the Foreign Patent Act?

OOC: I'd say we're trying to first inform why this proposal is banning (In all but name) all ideologies without a concept of either private ownership over the means of production, or government meddling in private property. Some are OK with that, sadly this apparently includes a majority of the GenSec. Some apparently don't understand that (Or much else about socialism or communism it would seem), so Excidium Planets was first schooled on the subject matter and now where they brought their formal education into it, laughed at for making an argument primarily based on applying the Dunning-Kruger effect.
