Ask IA for help?

I did this time. Hopefully the campaign will turn out.

OOC: You're at 51 more needed, so almost halfway. Too bad the submissions list is full of fluff - I guess all GA mods are on vacation again... I wonder if you can currently still use GHRs to ask the mods to remove submitted proposals, or do we have to wait for the Council to be active?

OOC
I was about to remark that I had not gotten one yet, then I remembered I am not a WA Delegate anymore.

Umm...how do you know that?

Because I sent the telegrams.

Except NS says it came from Umeria.

I have the logs on my server which say I sent the telegrams. That is, I made the API calls which made the telegrams get sent. The action of making those calls is why I sent the telegrams.

What?!?

I didn't run for reelection in my region, and let another become Delegate instead, because they wanted to participate in the WA.

Whenever we decide to hold elections again (regional government is pretty lax in my region), I could probably reassume the Delegacy.

That's because it uses Umeria's secret key. But it is using IA's API key, and IA is running the script, presumably.

Bell makes a casual note of an important strategic fact.

Umeria's official statement on defense is "No one has invaded us yet, so we must be too peaceful to kill!... right?"

Bell suddenly starts coughing into his hand. The fit of coughing is so violent, tears well up in his eyes, even though suppressing it doesn't seem to wrack his body quite that much. When he is finished, he makes another casual note, only to have the coughing unexpectedly return.

"You should see a doctor or perhaps a medic, Ambassador Bell. That cough sounds awful." Blackbourne informs the Separatist Peoples delegate. "According to Schultz, the last ambassador with a bad cough was abducted."

"Checked that box already," Bell gasps, clearing his throat and wiping away a tear.

IA is listening in on our campaign telegrams, people! He controls the whole system! Next thing you know he's gonna take over the WA and we're going to see black helicopters coming in to abduct our leaders! Ladies and gentlemen I HAVE THE DOCUMENTS!!!

PARSONS: Well, I am quite surprised, and quite happy, in fact, about the upwelling of support in favour of my Honourable Friends' proposal.
OOC: 1500 votes in 40 minutes. This resolution got STACKED.

Delegate-Ambassador Smith walks into the room...

Whilst so-called "selfies" are often confined to the Other Place, this is a somewhat unusual case. GAR#385 was a completely acceptable resolution, as well as a "NatSov" one (although some may dispute), so it would be ridiculous to think that this should be repealed; and it would be even more ridiculous for the repeal to be written by the author of the original resolution! We have voted AGAINST the resolution.

OOC: This resolution is now at vote.

IC: "Wallenburg casts its vote in favor of this resolution, and congratulates the author for recognizing the problems with their original resolution, even if rather late."

Wouldn't it be more wise to, instead of just repealing this resolution, propose a more adequate an detailed version?

"Amendments are illegal and replacements require a repeal."
