I fear you are off topic here. This thread is about the Commendation of Forest, not about whether you believe there's climate change.

I'd like to thank the authors and all those who voted for this resolution. Obviously, making Forest what it is has been a group effort, but It's very nice to be recognized as the partial target of the commend. Thank you!

Congratulations Forest. When I joined the game back in 2008, Forest was one of the regions that sent an advertisement to my telegram box (I remember it being a very creative ad.) We need more commended regions like Forest. It's nice to see them have their day in the sun.

Well. I never said there is not a global warming. I only said Mankind has not major effect on it. Warming is purely natural, it happened in the past and it will happen in the future.
I only say that fanaticism on being "eco" is wrong.
Examples?
I live in EU. In (if I remember correctly) 2006 traditional lightbulbs were banned. And why have that happened? Because some Greenpeace guys said that "energy-saving" lightbulbs are energy-saving. And the traditional ones suck.
And now. Do you know what our dear "eco" lightbulbs contain. One significant element. Hg. And you know what it causes if inhaled? Brain diseases, problems with your whole organism and at the end, death. Forest. Please think. Because what you think is saving Earth is not.
When dinosaurs were dying out, one of causes was the climate change. Can you give me evidence, that they have advanced technology, like us, what is said to cause the climate change? No, you cannot. Because dinosaurs did not have advanced technology. Nope.
I am not saying, that climate change is a lie. It is not. It happens. But I say that it is not our fault.
If you want to blame somebody, blame nature that you love so much.
I am very sad, that the resolution passed. That is another stone to the mountain of world blindness.

Although I'm sure we could have a lively and ultimately unproductive debate on whether current climate change is primarily anthropogenic, as has already been pointed out, conversation on it and other aspects of the merits of the real life environmental movement is totally off-topic in this thread.

Myself and other nations like me have spent over a decade making the region of Forest what it is, our contribution's to the game have little to do with real life climate change.
