Yeah... that's a damn far reach.
But, unfortunately, it's now significantly harder to predict mod-action, since, given the provisions here, the Mods may just say that it should be 'Strong', and they wouldn't necessarily be wrong, though, I personally think that this would only be 'Strong', if it outlawed the practice entirely.

I was always told that Significant is safer, since it's more likely for "Strong" resolutions to be killed for being too weak.

Also, just pointing out that the GHR wasn't my doing, and that while I still dislike the amount of duplication this draft does with the resolutions I already listed, I won't bother with a GHR, unless the draft is significantly changed later on. Not because I agreed with the counter-arguments, but because I have to prioritize my time spent on NS in the couple of weeks to come, and fighting this isn't worth the effort.

Our delegate with be voting in favor of this, despite the fact that we are opposed to capital punishment. But, as a ban on the death penalty is improbable, we must support the next best thing, which is to regulate it. Also, all other points made the resolution are to our liking. Just out of curiosity though (as I'm relatively new to the WA), which resolutions already put regulations on execution of criminals?

You know you can pass a ban on executions? It doesn't say in the resolution that you must execute criminals.

There are several standing resolutions related to due process, fair trials and right to appeal, but the most significant mandate specifically addressing the death penalty was repealed just last week. This is intended to replace it.
