Imperial Central News Network: In a report from Diplomatic Oversight that surprised exactly no-one, Overseer Markhov's Pet-Project, the World Assembly, has once more shown itself to be a collection of utter madmen. How the Overseer has maintained determination in his quest to bring Civilization to the Barbarians, is as-of-yet unknown, but it is certainly entertaining. And now we transfer to the Livet Research Facility, with the Core Worlds Meteorological Report...

Since a big part of the economy is runned through the Information Industry a flaw in the system would have a gigantic impact for Kenzolandian economy. The Kenzolandian minister of economy is mostly afraid that the system may slow-down international trade actions. Especially if one country uses another system they may interfere and have economical disadvantages. As long the DND system brings no changes to economical actions the Empire will support it.

Can member nations monitor other nation's networks? I find this could accidentally turn into spying or lead into some sort of agenda I may not approve of.

If I'm jealous 'cause my neighbor has the better economy and I try to do some economic espionage that's still not prohibited: My neighbor is a threat due his stronger industry,
or I suspect him because he maybe do unethical Business.
After all this resolution will not save anyone from cyberattacks.
And that's why this Resolution just leads to bad over regulation.

Isn't that a bit redundant, or are governments exempt from laws?

"A repressive regime could easily declare accessing a prohibited website unlawful access and thus a cyberattack and an act of violence to brand dissidents terrorists. The Free Republic must thus cast its vote against any WA resolution that might put a kosher stamp on violent repression."
