[DEFEATED] Repeal "Condemn Omigodtheykilledkenny"

Postby Kaboomlandia » Sun Nov 08, 2015 6:35 pm

Conceding that Omigodtheykilledkenny engaged in questionable actions,

Noting that these actions were both illegal and abhorrent,

Supporting punishment for actions such as these,

Realizing that these actions have been suspended for more than five years,

Claiming that Omigodtheykilledkenny contributed good things to the World Assembly,

Wanting to "forgive and forget"

Hereby repeals the condemnation on Omigodtheykilledkenny.

Not my work, but there doesn't appear to be a thread on this.

Discuss!

This is pretty sloppy. I'm still waiting on the results of my regional vote, but I'm leaning against and will likely lodge an initial vote against.

lol really? Another one. I clicked on it expecting it to be a joke. Seems like every few months we see one of these fail and this isn't going to pass either.

Believing that Kenny is still committing atrocities across the Multiverse,

Disbelieving that such actions can be forgotten, let alone forgiven,

Stomps Against this travesty of a repeal attempt.

I find that proposals failing at vote discourages their re-submission better than failing to achieve quorum. When I'm serving as a Delegate, I usually approve anything that appears to be legal.

As the advisor to the great leader himself I must go against this resolution. Even the great charisma of the most benevolent leader himself could not bring this poorly worded crayon document up from its premature grave.

Did anyone ask if he wanted it removed or did they decide to do this for their own self-esteem ?

Kenny doesn't want it removed.
There's just a small group of people who are hell-bent on having it removed. One guy tried three times...

For the record, by my count this is attempt #12, if we're counting drafts that were withdrawn, but not counting any illegal ones that were submitted and removed.

Links to the first nine attempts

A tenth attempt that I missed because it was spelled wrong

Attempt #11 (was defeated, 9,130 to 2,147, three months ago)

I know things are slow here right now but this is ridiculous.

It is nice to "forgive and forget" people ... when they are actually SORRY for the crimes they have committed. I see no indication that this nation has ever repented of its crimes which is literally legion.

Rendered speechless by Omigodtheykilledkenny’s complete disregard for human rights and the environment, as well as a disturbing hatred of dolphins,

Deploring its development and continued funding of the “Creative Solutions Agency”,

Shuddering to recall that the CSA has creatively exploited these so-called ‘loopholes’ and logical fallacies in General Assembly resolutions for years,

Revealing that these “creative solutions” included malpractice lawsuits against abortionists, curtailing same-sex marriage legislation, ridiculing a ban on chemical weapons, and suggesting that the nation should increase its fossil-fuel emission rates by 1,000 percent in a year,

Appalled that in its apparent zeal to defy WA conventions on terrorism, the nation would actually appoint a known terrorist as ambassador to the World Assembly,

Has the nation actually done good things? Fine, I agree. Commend the nation then. (No really you can do this without tearing space and time.)

But when the nation itself doesn't want to be forgiven. NO SANE NATION SHOULD GIVE THAT NATION A FREE 'GET OUT OF SHAME" CARD. You cannot force someone out of jail who wants to be in there in the first place. God knows what that nation might do to get that badge of dishonor back. Think of the dolphins, the people, the children, the penguins. My God, do you want them to EXPLODE again?

Saw this yesterday; it needed just one more vote.
This has already developed massive opposition, with 7,000 to 1,000. This won't pass.

An attractive woman with short platinum blonde hair, wearing a militaristic black habit trimmed in red, addresses the delegates.
"My name is Sister Alexia of the Order of the Bloody Rose. My fellow sisters of the Adepta Sororitas have only recently arrived in the Antarctic Oasis, which we are lead to understand is the home region of Ohmigodtheykilledkenny. From our brief observation we believe they are more than worthy of condemnation. Furthermore we find their very existance an affront to the Emperor, and are nothing more than heretics needing to face the righteous fire of the Emperor's just wrath. My fellow sisters pray to be the instruments of that purifying fire. Therefore I vote no to the repeal. May the Emperor be Praised!"

Warning this nation posts in character and will respond in character. Said nation is made up of ultra conservative, ultra fundemental religiously zealot warrior nuns who worship a God Emperor. You have been warned.

Was there a reason you posted such an obvious statement, and what would you know about the history of trying to repeal Kenny's badge?

This just in from Aetur, Emperor Guntram VIII Roryen was hospitalized after a letter marked S.C. 186 was delivered to the Imperial Palace. Initial speculation over some sort of poison was ruled out after the Surgeon General ruled it a case of asphyxiation caused by an extended bout of laughter. Our beloved Emperor is expected to make a full recovery. The many dolphins slain by DolpHarm are not.

Repealing omigodtheykilledkenny

Postby The Gavopogos Islands » Mon Nov 09, 2015 6:44 pm

What questionable actions did he commit?
How were these actions illegal and to what extent?

One attempt out of twelve makes you an expert not.

It was pretty savage actually. Dolphins were turned into Dolphin McNuggets, the Security Council was blown up, those clowns accidentally knocked an asteroid out of orbit and sent it on a collision course towards Earth, and worst of all the the stripper commandos lied and didn't strip.
