Krioval wrote:Gods, this thread is an interminable slog. Basically, I hate sanctimony almost as much as I do hypocrisy, and because of that, I'm actually voting against this liberation. I am tired of the SC being pulled into every penny ante region that may have been raided once upon a time. I am tired of the interminable debate as to who constitutes a "native" and who does not, and why some claims have stronger merit despite nations existing in a region for similar amounts of time. Most of all, however, I am tired of the defender sycophants who have failed to grasp that the raiding game is part of NS and that not everybody against a liberation is somehow aiding and abetting the forces of invasion.

That is not to include some of the more serious defenders here - I think that many people's intentions are pure, but that the execution is being botched. This kind of reintroducing liberations until one sticks just serves to cheapen what's left of the SC's value. And as others have asked, what's changed in the past month to warrant a second vote on this?

So, nothing's changed in the past month, or is the petty sniping more interesting than providing justification for (or against) the liberation?

Yes, the petty sniping is more interesting. Nobody really cares about the liberation.

So we have native support and this resolution doesn't, does it?

Second, I'm not responsible for what my General says. He is not me, but neither does he make policy. So his statement is in error. Happens.

Still claiming 3, yet earlier you admitted to not talking to one of those three. Your testimony is still lacking.

Also while he maybe not you, and the general he is in a position to know what is going on. We are not talking about policy here either. We are talking about Natives, and whether or not your region has been in contact with them to gauge support. One person in the region says no contact has been made, and you clearly are stating that they have been. Clearly both can't be telling the truth. I also find it doubtful that a General is clueless about the operation he is supposed to be running.

I don't think I'm voting on this one. I honestly have no clue what to think anymore, this case has gone back and forth too many times for me.

I didn't admit to not talking to them, I said I did talk to them? That's why I said go ahead telegram them yourself. That's why I've challenged it numerous times here. The point is, I welcome it, and if your interested in discovering the truth, rather than spending time trying to discredit what I'm saying, get the natives I'm claiming to support us, to say otherwise.

And I never said the General was clueless. I said his job is military affairs and mine is to ensure native support and the truth has come out here. It has indeed, the question is, will you contact Azril? Will you contact Worried Men or Liberal Black Dude? Have you? Or you just going to keep poking me around here? :eyebrow:

Perhaps your fear is that I am right, that you are wrong. Maybe that is why your so determined to only poke around here and not ask the natives out there. I've never asked you to not contact them, hell I've even given you a link to them through earlier posts, to the Land of the Liberals.

Exactly. The spectacle of everyone sniping at each other is entertaining. The liberation itself is dull as dishwater. Nobody on either side will lose any sleep over this region regardless of how it turns out.

What this thread needs right now is a circus or a parade or a duel or something to go along with the sniping. You know, mix things up a bit.

Actually you stated he voted against Utopia, but the most important point I can make is I am not the one contradicting myself. My subordinates are not on here contradicting me. You guys are all over the map trying to make a point.

I did state he voted against Utopia, but you claimed I didn't talk to the three natives I listed. So no I'm not contradicting myself. And can you honestly say that any organization, defender or invader, fictional or in RL, has 100% never had minor contradictions and/or disagreements? Honestly?

Entry of the Gladiators blares over the PA system as a circus parade marches through the Security Council featuring clowns in little cars, elephants, camels, zebras, monkeys riding tricycles, defenders juggling liberated regions, and raiders jumping over men and horses hoops and garters, lastly through a hogshead of real fire!

And of course Henry The Horse dances the waltz!

do you guys really have to post another one of these things. these are grotesque and becoming unpopular. once again you have failed to provide real legislation. this is hopeless to convince you all of liberate whomever, but i just think its silly

Liberate WHomever

1) please liberate me as my area is been destoryed by idiots and cant be happy with me
2) listen to me as i post my glorifying region adn why they are who they are
3) the world suffers, but i suffered more
4) i can do many things
5) help
6) help again
7) HELP!!! in caps and exlamation points in the end
8) you will free me as i am weak and innocent.

therefore, save me

seriously, pass some real legislation that we can debate over and not..this! yuck

Rolamec, I'm quoting you, but you're not the only one who needs reminding of two facts:

1. This is a GAME. If it makes you hot under the collar, back off for a bit. Go have a coffee. Take the dog for a walk. Whatever,

2. Very few of the people posting are IC, so any insults will be directly aimed at another player. That's flaming, with penalties attached. Don't risk it.

Oh, and this is for Rolamec: Anyone is allowed to speak in the NS forums. They don't have to be a WA member. They don't have to be someone you know. They don't even have to take part in Gameplay. Cool it.
