Gods, this thread is an interminable slog. Basically, I hate sanctimony almost as much as I do hypocrisy, and because of that, I'm actually voting against this liberation. I am tired of the SC being pulled into every penny ante region that may have been raided once upon a time. I am tired of the interminable debate as to who constitutes a "native" and who does not, and why some claims have stronger merit despite nations existing in a region for similar amounts of time. Most of all, however, I am tired of the defender sycophants who have failed to grasp that the raiding game is part of NS and that not everybody against a liberation is somehow aiding and abetting the forces of invasion.

That is not to include some of the more serious defenders here - I think that many people's intentions are pure, but that the execution is being botched. This kind of reintroducing liberations until one sticks just serves to cheapen what's left of the SC's value. And as others have asked, what's changed in the past month to warrant a second vote on this?

I know, I never claimed him as a native. He may or may not, I have no idea, but of the natives who are there, the support is like this: 3 support us, 2 don't, and 1 has said nothing, neither favoring nor opposing us, and most certainly never supporting this resolution. So we have native support and this resolution doesn't, does it?

Second, I'm not responsible for what my General says. He is not me, but neither does he make policy. So his statement is in error. Happens.

Also while he maybe not you, and the general he is in a position to know what is going on. We are not talking about policy here either. We are talking about Natives, and whether or not your region has been in contact with them to gauge support. One person in the region says no contact has been made, and you clearly are stating that they have been. Clearly both can't be telling the truth. I also find it doubtful that a General is clueless about the operation he is supposed to be running.
