I am not. I was showing you that I intend to gut that clause in your repeal argument.

This repeal has the full support of the USP.

As I recall you supported both of them originally. Now you are calling for their repeal? Tad hypocritical?

Changing one's mind is not "hypocrisy." Especially considering the damaging repeal this was used to justify.

You know what? I'm not even sure we voted on this resolution. We may have abstained or skipped the vote.

EDIT@OP: You don't need to bump threads if they're still on the front page.

Since the relevance of telling me about how my resolution is not reaching quorum is about as relevant as our discussion about the nature of gamma rays, Premier, I must reiterate — gamma rays are photons.

Oh God, you are completely illiterate in physics.

Wikipedia reports that:
A photon is an elementary particle, the quantum of light and all other forms of electromagnetic radiation.

Wikipedia reports that:
In physics, a photon is usually denoted by the symbol γ (the Greek letter gamma). This symbol for the photon probably derives from gamma rays, which were discovered in 1900 by Paul Villard, named by Ernest Rutherford in 1903, and shown to be a form of electromagnetic radiation in 1914 by Rutherford and Edward Andrade.

Wikipedia reports that:
During a molecular, atomic or nuclear transition to a lower energy level, photons of various energy will be emitted, from radio waves to gamma rays.

Again, Wikipedia:
Gamma radiation, also known as gamma rays, and denoted by the Greek letter γ, refers to electromagnetic radiation of an extremely high frequency and are therefore high energy photons.

Please do not technobabble about stuff you know nothing about.

One learns something new everyday don't they? In fact I have learned two new things today. I'll let you guess what the second one is.

Ah, that you are so incredibly arrogant and pompous that you refuse to admit to a fact even when three different people are telling you what it is, instead responding with " "? Incroyable!

I hope to see it passed and a better replacement is created. Hopefully by an ambassador with a solid understanding of basic physics, unlike the one that wrote the piece of legislation we are repealing.

For the purpose of opening discussion again, since the only persons to have responded last time were ones which my ambassador would call friends.

There was a previous resurrection. Which led to the above posts by Tinfect and Excidium Planetis. I'd like to reopen it for more discussion, but going on a day now, it doesn't seem forthcoming. Will submit probably tonight or tomorrow night.

I was just curious as to whether your delegation is actually going to contribute to the World Assembly and actually pass a resolution instead of just simply being repeal-bots? I guess that may be asking a bit too much though.....

OOC: I doubt it will last this time though. All I have seen is pointless resolutions that are being insta-repealed, but I couldn't let a resolution I fought so long and hard for go down without some commentary. I also have a campaign lined up to counter IA's campaign if and when they submit this. From what I have heard someone may have poured vinegar in the well of campaign telegrams as of late though.

OOC: have they ever...it was horrifying to see you leave and then get blindsided by the WSA. I hope this doesn't end up temporary, though. If nothing else, welcome back for now!
