[DEFEATED] Condemn "The Dourian Embassy"

Given recent events in Osiris, I feel like this needs to be written but I'm not sure how. I know TDE kicked out a few thousand people from Osiris, and he betrayed the region. Lets at least get started with drafting now.

While I would vote against the condemnation, I'll comment regardless.The highlighted text is illegal under Rule 4 as you can't use personal pronouns like 'he', 'her' or 'his' to refer to a nation. As a secondary piece of advice, the nominee does not need to be linked multiple times throughout the resolution - usually just once or twice works just as well.

I'm aware that Osiris is in general against this condemnation. But given the situation in Osiris has been resolved, I don't see why we shouldn't make this point known to all future nations. This would be my first condemnation, and any drafting assistance would be appreciated.

The Osirian government told us to stop condemning him because he would be happy about being condemned(some people just like the notoriety).

Also, a mean old man submitted the Condemn Durkadurkiranistan II proposal, and I believe durk is a sock puppet of Dourian(or is it the other way around...?)

Durk is not me, and I am not Durk. He used my nation for a little while, but we are in fact two different people.

We made requests, diplomatically and respectfully. We didn't demand anything. It's up to authors to decide whether or not to submit proposals, though Osiris continues to request that Security Council authors refrain from condemning The Dourian Embassy. He will view it as a badge of honor, and it's a badge he doesn't deserve.

If no one has any objection outside of the bizarre "he's done things that deserve one, but he doesn't deserve one" thing, I'll be submitting this in the next week or so. The point of these should not be to reward or discourage actions, it should be about the truth.

OK. I'll likely be submitting this tomorrow. I've fixed a couple of errors, and added the bits about Osiris convicting him of Treason and Couping.

I'd also like to say that if Osiris deems him fit to stand trial(and from what I saw of his trial, it looks like he enjoyed that too), he's fit to be condemned. The rest of the community oughta know about what he's done, even if it's 5 years down the road. So this kind of thing doesn't happen again.

Despite Cormac going crazy and kicking me(and many others) out of Osiris, I still believe this is the proper course of action. This has been submitted and telegrammed for. Now to wait for the response.

Really Cormac, if you had thought to ask me, I'd have told you that I wasn't Dourian. Your actions have cast a pall over what we fought so hard to achieve. To think I spent a month trying to put you back into power. Whatever.

Ok, I can see condemning me if it's got some substance to it. Hell, I've tried that. But this thing is stupid. I was hoping it'd fall by the wayside like Auralia's version, but obviously that was an idle hope.

Honestly, considering Cormac literally just did the exact same thing I did... why don't you look into condemning him before you worry about what I deserve. What I did, I did for the betterment of Osiris and in hopes of avoiding what Cormac just brought on Osiris today. Unfortunately the people of Osiris didn't take too kindly to that, and thought they knew better than I did. If you want to condemn me for that, fine.

But I did not do what I did because of some election, or any other reason. I'm tired of people saying I did.

I don't like the sound of this, or the taste of it. In fact it tastes like sour grapes. I think we've had enough of these personal vendettas recently. Douria has already been punished by Osirian courts. That should be enough. Against.

This has been in quorum since yesterday and he did significantly more than that to the people in Osiris that trusted him.
