The proposal was removed at my request even though I'm embarrassed to have had to have done it. Needless to say the riders must be finding this highly amusing. It was removed due to a formatting error on submission. One that the more pedantic of nations would have hammered me over at vote. It's being resubmitted now.

The unfortunate thing is, while it was a mishap with an italics tag, I think any long term member of the festering snakepit would know that voting patterns would have gone negative over this tiny error. If this is going to be done, it needs to be done right. Although I will state now, if this doesn't work this time, at the cost of my own shred of respect in this assembly I simply cannot submit a third time, lest I acquire a soapbox.

Omigodtheykilledkenny's vote for "Repeal "Condemn the Black Riders"" has been noted.

"Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt...[but] the servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

"But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded."
(Matt. 18:23-28)

...so too does Kenny, having just been spared his own condemnation, immediately go out and seek to take away someone else's. Because he knows nothing of irony. :p

Good luck on this one Abacath.

Merci kenny. As it stands its only the individual nation votes that ate hurting us really. None of he huge delegates have weighted in so time will tell. I suspect if its not corrected soon the lemming vote syndrome may well occur but cest la vie lol.

Seriously? Is this what civilization has reduced to? Reckless misspellings? Here's a brief grammar lesson for you, courtesy of Dr. Arthur Snerpus, Ph.D:

It's simple. "It's" is the contraction of it is--as in, IT'S a pain to grade these papers, so I make you [the TA] do it. "Its" is the possessive. Example: This university is so expensive, ITS grad students will never pay down their debt!

Any questions? None? Good. Class dismissed!

The sad part is individual nations are killing this because they see repeal and dark riders in the same sentence and can't comprehend the process. Probably the reason this dirt passed in the first place.

The voting's not going too well. Freakin' lemmings.

Kaon wrote:So I noticed "The proposal "Repeal "Condemn The Black Riders"" was removed from the floor." What happened to it?

And let me get this straight, you have spent real life currency to mass telegram people, just so you have your proposal fail... TWICE?!

Man, I thought this was a waste of time, turns out it's a waste of time AND money. :palm:

But seriously this funny, why was it removed from the floor?

You have posted several times in this thread, without bringing a single new idea to this debate besides "this is a waste of time lol." It's borderline spam, in my opinion.

I find it quaint and amusing that you riders seem to have mistaken the concept of campaigning with "begging". And where you got the idea that this failed to reach quorum more than once is boggling.

I'm starting to see a pattern here, it's like all those American high school movies, you have the cool kids who's opinion everyone wants ie: the SC, the loveable nerds; your GA fanboys and then your jocks the thick as shit "popular" kids, aka - the riders.

If you're happy with a sub par condemn then so be it. Shows more about how desperate you are to have a badge than to have one with at least a little substance. Your loss not mine. Ill continue to find people and topics worthy of writing about, and enjoy that little corner of the game that appeals to me. You're no big loss to me :) buh bye buuhhhdddy

SC#91, and it's obvious attempts

I cannot possibly vote for a so-called security council resolution that has grammatical issues regarding it's vs its.

Comrades!

Suppressing bandits who prey on the proletariat, the People's Liberation Army defends the masses. Condemning the raiders who harass the people, the World Assembly supports the People's War. Cadres, remain vigilant in the condemnation of The Black Riders, resist the revisionist line, and follow closely the Party line. Following Chairman Dirge and Following the Party, the red star shines on for generations!
