A resolution to recognize outstanding contribution by a nation or region.

The Security Council,

Noting the recent Zombie Apocalypse which befell much of the world, causing the deaths of trillions in many regions;

Recognising the Versutian Federation as a region which was of low 'Zombification';

Observing that during the Zombie Apocalypse, this region became the largest of a considerable number of regions accepting "refugee" nations from other beleaguered regions;

Appreciating that the administration and protection of these regions were complicated and thankless tasks;

Realising that these tasks included, but were not limited to:

• Ejecting and banning nations not complying with the anti-exportation policy;
• Encouraging nations to adopt policies of cure research;
• Monitoring nations in the region to ensure continued compliance following re-admittance after ejection;
• Offering advice and support to nations suffering under the effects of the Zombie Apocalypse.

Acknowledging the efforts of the Versutian Federation, its leadership and the wider community in providing salvation for nations often close to collapse due to the outbreak;

Additionally appreciating the Administration's continued stewardship of the region, protecting over 230 nations from threats both from within the region and externally;

Grateful that the honourable actions of the Versutian Federation were mirrored by countless other regions who protected nations within from the harsh effects of the Apocalypse.

Concluding that many hundreds of nations and many billions of people were saved by the selfless, responsible and humane actions of these regions;

Hereby Commends Versutian Federation.

Thank you so much for this commendation proposal. It is true, the government of the Versutian Federation spent hours during the zombie outbreak making sure the Versutian Federation stayed a safe place for all refugees. It means a lot that our contribution was recognized.

The Security Council;

NOTING the recent horrific events that have befallen much of the world, causing the deaths of trillions,

FURTHER OBSERVING the extremely destructive effect that this has had on many nations, rendering them almost non-existent and unable to defend or protect themselves,

REALISING that many of these nations needed a place of sanctuary in which to stay so that they might recover,

PRAISING the actions of the Versutian Federation, whereby:

• The region began a lockdown and developed vaccines with which to treat the global pandemic,
• The region's members cured rather than killed their own populaces, demonstrating great responsibility and mercy,
• The region opened itself up to the wider world, accepting refugee nations so that their populations could be restored and the plague neutralised, without any thought for its own safety,
• Several of the region's member states then took their cure into the wider world and set about healing the populations of many other regions,

FURTHER SEEING that the Federation's members also acted with great vigilance, keeping out nefarious nations whose sole thoughtless and contemptible aim was the spreading of the plague to others,

CONCLUDING that many hundreds of nations and many billions of people were saved by the selfless, responsible and humane actions of the Versutian Federation, at home and abroad,

HEREBY COMMENDS the Versutian Federation.

That's fine. I have a nation in the SLU (Erasmania), so I know you already. I decided not to move Erasmania because I liked the SLU, but I just created a new nation to run for SECDEF of the Versutian Federation.
