And it's a legitimate question anyway, as Asgard have given plenty of indication that they aren't to be trusted.

We're already in control of Christmas, not refounding would just be a waste of our time, especially given all the crap we've had to deal with since this proposal was submitted.

Hello all I am back and after reading a few things I feel I need to address them. I shall not be quoting because it would require too many quotes and I will simply be stating what needs to be said.

First off, it has been brought up that 2 natives have voiced for the resolution. I am glad they have voiced their opinions, however I must ask why? They haven't built up a community, they haven't established any sort of government. The only thing they've done in their region is be raided. But I still am glad they have their opinion and in honor of democracy am waiting for the rest of the native response.

Secondly, we have been questioned as to whether or not we'll let natives back into the refounded nation. The answer to that is of course! I (as Minister of Culture in Asgard) can assure you in order to establish a community (year round but I shall address that next) we want as many people as possible there! We have absolutely nothing against the natives one iota. Even the two that have voiced for the resolution are certainly welcomed. Now you may not believe Asgard, or trust raiders or whatever. But I will hold myself to this. If refounding does happen, and Asgard does not follow the plans to allow for native return. I will become a defender. I have staked my honor on that and will do everything in my power in order to see that natives and everyone else for that matter, be allowed back into the refounded nation.

Third, some have brought up that we will only be using Christmas in December or half of December or whatever. That is a lie. Again as Minister of Culture I shall be bringing life to this region year round should we get the opportunity. I shall be holding contests, scavenger hunts, holding word games. We'll set up forums for the region and set up some roleplay (albeit a winter themed roleplay most likely). I shall be participating in Christmas' activities year round. While you may correct that the biggest will be in December and July. That does not mean we shall abandon it for the rest of the year.

My last statement shall be thus, the whole TG was an honest mistake. None of us intended to deceive anyone by this. It was a misunderstanding from an IRC conversation that one of us had with Unibot. Up until this misunderstanding was explained to us, we had no knowledge that it was false. Now I do sincerely apologize that this was used in our campaign. But the moment we knew ourselves we pulled it from out campaign and did our best to inform people of this mistake. I would really like everyone to stop calling it a lie or a fabrication because we have honestly tried explaining that it was nothing more than a misunderstanding.

Anyhow, Venicos has had the most reasonable and strait forward response from the side of Asgard yet. If you want a to make a well educated decision you have to read both sides of the argument. (for that matter if you want to argue against a side you should still read what the other side says *cough cough*). Or you could blatently edit your very first post, that everybody sees when they click on the topic with hyperlinks that direct people strait to the only arguments you want them to read.
