I have studied the voting practice of the Security Council and noticed that many nations freely request condemnation of other nation simply as a result of petty differences and juvenile fracas. And unfortunately, the council votes favorably for such condemnations only to pass other resolution to repeal the condemnation that shouldn't have been passed in the first place(E.g. See Security council resolution #76 just to name one out of a few). The security council should initiate its own investigation into any request for condemnation so as not to further dilute its authority and distort its presumed fairness.

Milograd has interfered with Altair's, along with Altair's allies' business in the past, during a short-lived insurgency in the Venom Archipelago. The fact that they would attempt to support a pyschotic dictatorship that massacres its own people with nuclear weapons (which, as it turns out, Milograd is guilty of as well,) under the thin veil of protecting "trade interests" (The Venom Archipelago's economy was about to collapse following the end of Emperic-Scorpion War, and had not made much recovery in the seven years that had passed,) is absolutely disgraceful by Altarian standards, and therefore we stand FOR this proposal.

I think the Ambassador is confused as to what the Security Council does; it can Condemn, Commend, or Liberate. The most it can do is condemn this nation, any inclusion of punishments as the Ambassador suggests would render the proposal illegal.

While I'm here, I may as well point out that I have voted FOR this proposal and I too condemn the atrocities carried out within Milograd.
