Like I said, my friend was there too, and I don't have a reason not to trust him. "1 minute ago" could easily be 2 hours before regular update, and the next minute, it could be changed in "10 hours ago".

This proposal generated so much activity with people being interested that don't normally bother with the SC (or GA) only to have it cut off 11 hours before they are expecting it to end with plenty of votes still to be cast, it just seems a real shame.

He's not. This melodrama about democracy and justice and mod conspiracies is a diversion to draw attention away from his own failed efforts to scuttle the vote on this liberation.

You have plenty of reasons not to trust him. Though I question if you really think that there was some conspiracy, or are simply trying to paint yourself the victim.

The truth of the matter was if the update happened two hours early, it would have helped you, not hurt you. A two hour early update would have scuttled our attempt to liberate the region. At best we would have noticed that the region had updated, and canceled the operation. Worse, we would have moved in the region two hours after update, watching for the delegate switch that would never come. Knowing that we would be banjected before the next update, and loosing the advantage of surprise after that.

Also to imply that the MODS changed the update time, informed defenders in the various region of the special update time, and every defender kept absolutely silent on what we would know is MOD interference is ridiculous. The one thing I am sure we both can agree on is that many people can't keep that big of a secret silent. Somebody would brag about it, gloat about it, or be dumb enough to tell someone else.

I mean look at Belgium's password for example.

'Plenty of votes.' There are quite a few posters on here who say their vote was not counted because they were waiting late for various reasons, I belive these posters are only a proportion of the later votes that may have been cast.

'Where were they before?' My point exactly, most of them only vote occasionally so it's a bit of a let down to not be able to do it when you do want to.

'The turn out was not unusual.' Oh yes it was. It was the highest number of votes cast in any Liberation Proposal so far and here is the list in order:

My emphasis. You still appear to be implying some kind of legerdemain on the part of either the moderators or the admins. It couldn't be a reference to my killing Burchadinger's repeal, because that happened after your post was written.

I believe I said in an earlier post I wasn't up for conspiracy theories, which pretty much threw out the possibility of mod intervention. I was referring to the closed thread in technical - I liked the debate that was going on in there. But it doesn't matter anymore. Anything else said on the subject would just get more backlash. I don't want that right now. Far as I'm concerned, you may retire this thread.

Ah, right. Well, tough about the Tech thread, but Pyth keeps pointing out that Tech is NOT for debates, it's for reports. He goes through it to find what problems exist, and likes posts kept factual.
