My issue is with my child's right to live, and my right to my child. 1. No one, child or not, has the right to inhabit someone else's body without their permission, so the removal of the fetus has to be legal. Because a fetus at 8-12 weeks, when up to 90% of abortions are preformed, cannot survive ...

I think they should both have to consent to the abortion unless the female was raped, in which case she has the sole decision.

Mind you I don't actually agree with abortion anyway, but since it is a real thing going on, issues like this should still be dealt with.

Not before we ban monopoly. I have seen exactly two people get their noses broken and both times were during games of monopoly. I would wager Monopoly is right up there with crack and rabies for "reasons people bite other people." Not before we ban Diplomacy. It's my expert opinion as a B...

Who's parents are you talking about? The slasher's or the victim's? Either way, it doesn't tell us lot's about them. If your child slashes someones throat over a video game dispute then yes it tells us alot about you. Sorry but i just don't believe that. Anyone could really do something this violen...

I think I've asked this question before, but I've never really gotten an answer. What exactly separates the Orthodox sects from the rest of the Christian sects? What in their doctrine is different? And what separates the individual Orthodox sects? Oh lord, that complex issue... To give what I think...

Controversial Issue

Many people have there own views on controversial incidences, events, beliefs etc. A study by the 'Committee of Organisation' recently showed that around half of all people believe in a certain idea. It also contained the stunning fact that another 50% of people disagreed with that idea in particula...

Really, the policy at my school was very simple, if a crime of this nature is reported, he police are immediately called, no questions asked. One girl saying it happened needed to be enough, and most certainly was enough. To put it simply, every claim of rape was taken seriously, because every clai...

I agree with what the school did. I wasn't like they didn't call the police at all, they were just checking whether the victim was being serious. A lot of kids at school make jokes about rape, including accusation, if the teachers were to take this seriously every single time, well then almost the ...

What age is it acceptable to talk to children about death?

The other day I was at a relatives home who is a father of a young girl (3 y'o at the time). A TV in the background was playing a detective show and as she walked in a shot played of a dead lady lying flat and having a body bag zipped over her. The young girl asked my mother "What's that lady d...

Most of the super-heroish shonen stuff I don't like (eg.Bleach, Naruto etc.) I prefer instead slightly (but not fully) stranger stuff like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Other stuff like Azumanga Daioh or Lucky Star I enjoy as well as more mature shows like Elfen Lied or When They Cry. Anime, as...

In all seriousness the reason why some people can say 'nigger' casually is the same reason why some people cannot express pride in their 'race' and others can.

The 'N' Word

Recently I have begun wondering why it is acceptable in cases such as music/casual conversation for Black people to use the 'N' word (you know what I'm meaning) but other people types cannot. I understand that it being said by a white person (for example) to a black person would cause the word to co...
