The point of sandals is that your toes get to come out and say hello for a bit.

She sounds a bit like one of those bad kids TV presenters who can't help but sound a bit patronising.

That's a weird assessment and one I'm not sure I see.

Trailer. Looks like all three companions will be travelling with her. I was kind of hoping one would be like Nardole, not going on every adventure. Three full-time companions just seems a bit ambitious when you've also got a new Doctor to introduce and a new showrunner to settle in. Looking at some...

New teaser! Was that the one that was leaked? Was alright, good way to introduce the new companions. Felt like a pizza add for a second though haha Nah, the leak was of a fair bit of footage from one of the episodes, probably intended to be shone at Comic-Con. This looks more like specially-shot fo...

What I've heard — and what makes sense to me — is that they had prepared to show the clip at Comic-Con, and so the reaction is less about the amount that was leaked and more the fact that now a significant portion of the Comic-Con audience will have already seen the big teaser that they'll be wantin...

Something like a 3.5, probably? Street art is viewed as an important cultural practice and a way for residents to further leave their mark on their home. That said, it's not subsidized, and art which is deemed to be obscene or unfit for public display is routinely removed. Many murals and small graf...

The day is rapidly — perhaps too-rapidly — approaching when the level of my worldbuilding will be such that I have a name, age, and occupation for every single citizen of my nation. I have long feared this day. Why though Over the years I've created too many errant names off-hand, which is a proble...

All the resources that the Red Cross uses are resources that can't be used by other organizations. Quick question: where do you think the money you donate to the Red Cross goes? Into a black hole that medical supplies pop out of? Because what happens is they spend it, it returns to the economy, and...

Fair point. But you can at least wear two socks and not have them appear to be mismatched. True. But then you lose four white socks. Then a black sock. Then another white and black sock. Then another white and black. Then you have to wear mismatched socks. I think it's fine to lose some white socks...
