"Osarius are a very tactically astute team" said Rubio, trying to speak as calmly as possible. Jeremy Jaffacake was on the other end of the phone, far away in Legalese's Riverside Staidum in Tiberia, pacing up and dwon the tunnel as he spoke, obviously upet about something. Rubio heard Jer...

Well this wasn't turning out very well. After spending most of the Cafundeu game in the dugout with the subs and the managerial staff, Jeremy had decided to watch game two from up in the media section of the Riverside Park stadium. Sitting up here afforded him a much better tactical view of the game...

I like and endorse everything about this, but don't see the entertainment value of the -ear, -far puns. Just wait til Falconwhereveryouare signs up next cycle... Ah, balls. I completely missed that. Falco-NEAR and Falcon-FAR. God I'm an idiot. Also, because I hadn't said anything before: Best of lu...

Jeremy Jaffacake finished the last remnants of his beer with a satisfied, hearty *gulp* and settled his emptied bottle down on the table. "This is alright.." he said to himself, sitting in the Legalite summer sun, outside a trendy cafe, empty bottle of beer in hand but, with a nod of his h...

I'd be intrigued to know why Yeso wants to do this. Is having two almost identicallly named nations going to lead to more scope for RPing? Is wiping Yeso from the football map a good thing?

"Jeremy Jaffacake?" said a Legalite official. Jeremy pretended not to hear. There were more important things going on than having to speak to some Legalesiapesian bod in a suit, who no doubt wanted him to do something stupid like stop jumping around so much, or stub his cigar out, or stop ...

A pub. Legalese. Jeremy Jaffacake, in his role of 'ambassador of the Federation de Football de Audioslavia', was setting about improving the diplomatic relations between himself and a pint of Legalite beer. Cafundeu , he thought to himself, of all the teams we could have been drawn with. Cafundeu. I...

Tiberia, Legalese, Audioslavia's base camp for AOCAF tournament, the country's first foray into international football for over a century. Jeremy Jaffacake folded his arms and looked at the assembled crew. Twenty-two alleged 'footballers', only a handful of whom he'd ever heard of. Andre-Luis Partic...

Earlier than we'd traditionally expect, aye, but early bids for things are no bad thing. They keep things running smoothly. Just remember to link to your bid thread in the WCdiscussion thread when the WC59 qualifiers finish!

Best of luck MangoMen!

Starblaydia wrote:It would be delicious if the minute Krytenia add a Starblaydi to their line-up, they go and win a World Cup. If not, of course, then Krytenia still are without a world title to their name.

Starblaydia always wins in the end ;)

Unless, of course, Valrauncion doesn't play in the final..

A smokey pub, Khaldoon, Queer Poco el Mono Ara. A handful of napkins had been splayed out onto the table, upon which sat Jeremy Jaffacake's laptop computer, long since closed to make way for conversation with the people around him. To his left, one Rubio Sanchez; young, keen, a great knowledge of fo...

"I can't make head nor tail of this chuffin' game" exclaimed Jeremy, haphazardly flicking the scroll-wheel of his mouse. "It's just a bunch of weirdos pretending to be footballers, or journalists, or football managers. I mean, look at this guy. Jeremy settled the scroll-wheel and beck...

What about descendants from Silexhera, would they suit? There were some players from the former Silexhera National Team who, after the nation stopped playing in the World Cup, kept playing in the Cafundelense league. They are retired by now, but may have children who would be old enough to play foo...

a team like Manchester Utd will NEVER lose to a for lack of better term 'unranked' side like scorinators will sometimes let us do. For those reasons, IRL GD is a better measure of who is better and more consistent. I absolutely agree with this statement. As a former citizen of York I can say with u...

Jeremy punched embertonpost.kt into his laptop and watched the letters appear, one by one, in the address bar of his web-browser. /staff/dropbox appeared soon after, a little slower than Jeremy would have liked; he hadn't changed laptops in a couple of decades. <Enter>. Jeremy clicked the 'submit ar...

So I just opened WC59 Signups, wrote a witty (well, as witty as I can manage on a daily basis) sign-up, thought about it, and then closed the window before hitting submit. I was that close to re-joining, as it's been around four months since I did my 'Laters, marks' post. A lot has happened in thos...

Jeremy Jaffacake took his seat in the RoyalStadium in Khaldoon, capital city of Queer Poco el Mono Ara, sipping on a Jameson's whisky and coke, and ice, and lemon, and umbrella. I'm not sure what the record is for the widest defeat in a World Cup Finals match is, but that might well be it. I'd be pissed off too.

My advice would be to RP your ass off to account for it and swear revenge on Krytenia, the hosts, and all your mortal enemies.

I've been 'vaguely' ignoring it since introducing Mr. Jaffacake in World Cup 6. I even tried to retire him as early as WC10, I think. I have, finally, found a way to explain it. Ish. I need to group all of Krytie and my Rami/Jeremy RPs together in one page. I've been trying to write a novel here and...

Aaand... that's my reply done. I made a new plan: Spend an hour writing furiously and accounting for the forty-year hiatus, expand the plot, hand you the baton, see where you run with it.
