I was really hoping that CKIII would fix that little problem with OP Muslims in early start dates and on the one hand, as I watch the Byzantines gobble up Africa, it did but on the other hand, as I watch Andalusians push all the way up the French coast and into Wales, it didn't. Mind, this is the 1...

Battle for the Bosporus has officially been announced as the minor DLC, releasing on October 15th covering all of the three countries showcased in previous DDs. Seems like a solid $10 deal. I hoped for a new Soviet tree for this but alas, no. I'm not really looking forward to this. They said multip...

The first step to a game of CK2 is turning it off. tbh, playing CK3 is mostly just making me want to fire up CK2 again. Though on the upside, my independent Orthodox Bavarian King finally started getting Bavarian Patriarchs, after a series of Greeks and Bulgarians(?). It's nice not to have a perman...

This is going to sound incredibly dumb and boring to other people, but I really want a mining game where you have to deal with overburden. Any game with a mining mechanic it's treated like you can just dig a whole and all the useless dirt and rock magically disappears and is replaced by emptiness o...

It would be hilarious to play an Aboriginal and conquer Britain, it’s satisfying enough doing so as Bharat

Or like, if you reform, the europeans can get hit with plague modifiers.

Good job barbados doing what you want? I guess? If you tradition nerds want more commonwealth members, why not just invite the countries that want to join?

One of the mental breakdown options makes you Jewish iirc. Might be that? I guess that's whats happening but holy fuck is it annoying to have to constantly reconvert to Catholicism. Yeah, Ragnar Haesteinnson got an option to go full blown Nestorian. Now, did I do this? No, because that would lead t...

Gonna start poking around in both start dates to find interesting religions and/or components thereof, and I will update this thread with my findings. Update: You don't need a province to convert, and Haesteinn can freely invade the Christian world because it doesn't pull in enemy co-religionists......

I mean popular because it is introducing the game to a wider audience. That was an entire wave of paid promos.

I once again maintain that allowing the creation of new melting pots as a concept is something that should have been added to CK3. Just merge two cultures' attributes (i.e. the cultural advancements that exist at the time of creation of a new culture), pick up a "dominant culture" to base...

I disagree with the factions. You want to keep vassals from being in factions? Keep them happy, keep them close to you and for the love of god don't be a tyrannical prick. Or, if they're trying to destabilize the realm even if they like you (which happens with annoying regularity), just murder them...
