Heavily W.I.P at the moment, I'm aiming for a devoted acolyte of a specific cult within the Canon, to the point of perhaps a dangerous level of monotheism. A coarse, fanatical and monastic fellow, eager to spread the good word and equally willing to either turn the other cheek or burn the heretic, d...

How many what, exactly? Well, just reading through the list of materials and the phrases bushels and bundles just seem kinda subjective. A bushel of sticks for example just sounds like "a bunch of sticks" rather than a exact amount of sticks. A Bunch, a Bushel or a Starn are all being use...

Lucan Fairwell, Gentleman Planter Day One Lucan spent his crossing of the great northern ocean plotting, planning and working over the new world in his head. He'd made sure to grill every man he could find who had landed in the so-called wild-lands, and agonized over every fragmentary rumour and sto...

While Mr.House is technically awake, and while I'd love the chance to play as him in the early days of New Vegas I can't imagine he's really, properly playable, especially not since we all know where the Platinum Chip is. That being said, I'd still like to go for some sort of Robotic faction. Would ...

Ooh, my goodness me. This does look like my sort of thing. Name: Lucan Fairwell Description: Lucan Fairwell is a man secure in his middle age, with a sharp, pointed set of features and a keen pair of hazel-brown eyes. A meticulously shaved and preened moustache, two wispy strands of silver-brown, cu...

Ussur Ussur saw Opal, resting under the dome, and frowned, suspicious of the spearwoman and sad to see the ruin he had so revered for its beauty found by another. He had hoped to keep it for himself, a piece of finery int he depths of the wilderness, but it did not seem as if that would happen now....

Ussur Ussur had always been a heavy sleeper, but the wind and the cold managed to wake him. Indeed, he was mostly awake, though he was reticent to admit it, hoping against hope that the mane of black hair washing over his head would somehow leave and that the irritation of the damp earth beneath hi...

Ussur What Ussur saw walking across the marsh towards him was a strange sight for the coarse fisherman. How should such finery find its way into such a place, how could such frailty survive? The little charm at her side would do her no good, and neither would any fine dress, not in the wilderness. ...

Ussur Ussur had been chewing on a rich, earthy brown root. He hadn't been sure whether it was edible, so he had only tried a small morsel, but he had found it at least edible, if not palatable, which was certainly better than his previous attempts over the course of the day. He had saved another ch...

Ussur Ussur spent the morning dredging through the lakes and ponds of the marsh, carefully treading through the wet, uncertain ground of the land. He had almost slipped into the more stagnant pools more than once, and he did not like to imagine what he would find, or what could find him if he were ...

Ussur He had travelled far, since the morning of fishing by the riverside, and what Ussur had seen mystified him, filling his mind as he strode down, cautiously through the woods. He remembered half-seen beasts in the dark, and he had seen what damage they could do, so he walked with a branch ready...

Ussur Ussur looked on with another sudden burst of hunger at the outstretched hand bearing the fruit. He did not know of what sort the meal was, but it wpuld certainly add something to the fish. As soon as he could lay his broad, calloused ahnds on them, he set to work on the fruits, tearing away p...

Ussur The squat fisherman observed the dark shadow flicker in and out of view in the water and was thankful he hadn't been stood in the shallows to feel whatever the thing was' passing. He did not know why he feared a beast large enough to cast such a shape in the water, he could remember nothing o...

And I'm not role playing a starving/impoverished person. At least until the trees are exhausted, charity is an unnecessary and expensive habit. Service for food, or barter for food, are entirely different stories, though.

You’re saying you can deny a poor hapless child food?

You're certainly managing it. If he wants fish, he can trade for it, like anyone else.

If anyone gets hold of extra fruit they don't have a use for, Ussur will pay good fish for it. Got to get that dietary variation, of course.

Ussur Ussur was not so foolish as to stand and watch as hungry eyes fell upon him, let alone eyes belonging to the bearers of spears. He was wiser than that, or perhaps more cowardly, and so he set out as quickly as he could think to, pulling his cloak close around him and breathing deeply, gulping...

Ah, the process of domestication will depend on the animal in question. It will, in most cases take an action, and also require ropes, wood, seeds, vegetables or meat, maybe a plot of field where they can roam around. Hmm. Now, the real challenge is whether I'll starve to death before I can slaught...
