Good to see my fellow Australians plant one foot firmly in the 21st century. Now, let's see our elected representatives follow us.

A bill for marriage equality, with broad parliamentary support, was introduced into Parliament today. The PM hopes to have it passed by Christmas.

As the re-founder of Forest and the only remaining nation that resided in its earlier, founderless namesake when they arrived, Errinundera has probably had a longer association with Ransium than anyone else who participates in NationStates. I recommend without hesitation that Ransium be duly recogni...

Errinundera was created on Christmas Eve 2002 - about 6 weeks after NS began. The reason why we are behind population wise is we were a couple of years out of the game.

Forest: no infected, 500 nations; open for refugees

Forest is a region of over 500 nations (that's 3.29 trillion survivor) that are zombie free and armed with Mark IV cure missiles. We have decided to trial an intake of nations that are in need of our help. For a short period we will open our borders. There are some conditions. 1. You must have some ...

We don't have a leader as such. That said, pretty well anyone of any significance can be found at one of the many, many spontaneous street parties that are taking place all around the nation.

Thanks. Most curious. I like to think we are just a bit weird. Trotterdam's explanation seems reasonable. Errinundera doesn't support religion in any way but doesn't prohibit it either. Given how old we are perhaps there's a sizeable enough religious population to be considered devout.

Holy Mackerel! Errinundera is devout?

In the current WA report my nation, Errinundera is the 108th most devout nation in Forest (out of 108 nations). We are the 131,461st most devout nation in the NationStates multiverse (out of 131,569, ie 109th least devout. Yet our nation page says: The compassionate, hard-working, democratic, cheerf...

Thanks for the reply, [violet] . The more I think about the change the more intrigued I'm becoming.
