I prefer to ask, "Do I have a God?". Considering who I define as God in my mind is only seen by me, felt by me, heard by me, then it would seem ultimately important only to one person. Me. Why would I ask someone else? "Is there a God?" feels like an invitation; there is no wrong...

Versus the time sink for trading cards. So useful that is. Keep arguing.

The thread is stickied, so it's always at the top of the forum. It's also named "Help us fix old issues", which is pretty informative. That help you find it?

Nope. I don't come here that often. Sorry I don't think like you.

( Image ) If you suspect there are any faulty macros -- like naming macros -- please could you report them here in future. Thanks. Tweaking this now. Nope. I'm not going to remember that. As a designer I would suggest a button (or similar) on the issue page that says 'Report Problem' which pre-popu...

What about my idea above? Yep, that's a good one too. And yes, much easier to implement. Perhaps the vacation option is longer for postmaster ... Perhaps I should script a bot to log in every 5 days. I'd imagine that's already been done, actually. Anyway, let's all hold hands and sing, "We are...

There's more to Nationstates than logging in and deciding issues. I would guess, for the majority, the entire reason that we are here is because one day, we thought that we could start our very own nation. That's an idea, a concept, a dream and not one iota revolves around logging in or solving iss...

When was the last time you looked at the roof of your house, or the back of your TV, or underneath your car ...

I'm just presenting a point equally as meaningless.

I'm not seeing this as something that adds value to the game. Sure, it adds money to Max's coffers, but it doesn't add active players. I can't see a benefit to having nations sit idle for a year at a time. If you can't be bothered to log in every 60 days, you're not "playing" the game. It...

Apaycalypse

I know this is a complete waste of time but how about a new option in the store. I'll pay to avoid apocalypse. Maybe not forever but like 6 mths or even a year in advance. Make it pay per time feature. $5/mth up to 1 yr. $2/mth .. I don't know, just fkn do it.

So today I notice this.

Defense Forces
Total War Preparedness Rating -6.32 → -0.00 ⇡100%

-0.00 instead of 0.00

I like it !

Code: Select all
$Rebelliousness = $Rebelliousness - $Reduce_By_This_Much;
IF $Rebelliousness < 0 THEN $Rebelliousness = 0;

lol. Priceless.

ok ok .. sorry!

-3 increased by 100% is - 6

I guess if they didn't remove the sign on the result of the percentage change calculation you'd have stacks of people pointing that out instead.

Sometimes I forget this is a game.

-snip- Everything you say is irrelevant, since reality breaks down at the operationalization of "rebelliousness" utilizing an interval variable, rather than a ratio. What does -3 "rebelliousness" even mean? http://fragcam.com/nsdnc.jpg I followed your advice and did not click. T...

Youth Rebelliousness Stark-Dean Displacement Index -3.00 > 0.00 - 100% 100% ?? ((-3.00 - 0.00) / -3.00) * 100 = 100% ...? So I see that as ((old - new) / old) * 100 = %. So if old is 50 and new is 75 : ((50 - 75) / 50) * 100 = -50% How about ((new - old) / old) * 100 = %. ((0.00 - -3.00) / -3.00) *...

Previous issues

Well I've searched without success, both in this forum and search engine.

All I want to know is how do I view the issues I've dealt with.

Surely this question has come up before?

How did you determine the last issue I actioned? Looking at that option quoted it would seem I hit the wrong button thinking I was selecting something else. Sometimes, it's not easy to work through the options. I have trouble reading and by the time I get to the last one I've forgotten what the rest...

So I went from being in the top 8% to now 96% from just one issue. To be different I chose a silly option because it would be funny and pow! a huge drop. I didn't expect it to be so fierce : / https://www.nationstates.net/nation=veeblefetzer/detail=trend/censusid=60 I was proud of where it was at. U...
