If that were the case (that this is solely based on political motivations), we wouldn't be cutting embassies. Per the vote of the citizenry before any homophobia, racism, etc. were brought into the discussion, a vast majority of the citizens, myself included, voted to keep the embassy.

I thought you were talking about Right to Life. Refer to earlier posts about Right to Life not monitoring everything that happens in foreign regions. I am. Right to Life literally let the FCN's prior scandalous behaviour slide, as well as genuine homophobia on their RMB. As for the FCN, we quickly ...

Perhaps because we weren't aware of the extent of the problem. I don't keep tabs on y'all's Discord server, and we generally trust you all to manage your own affairs. But something is very obviously wrong here, given that your RMB literally devolved into outright defending the use of anti-gay slurs...

And yet you allowed the use of anti-gay slurs by government officials. I doubt -- very strongly -- that it is the only time the term has been used

The Right to Life government is withdrawing its embassy from the League of "Conservative" Nations. Ill-mannered behavior toward diplomats and frequent use of racial and sexual slurs on offsite property have convinced the Right to Life government to cut ties. Didn't you maintain ties to th...

So many things here are directly false (for instance, Quebecshire told me that I couldn't actually make my post in the #diplomacy channel, because the same standards apply everywhere under LCN law), that I don't even know where to begin responding.

EDIT: Of course, I will respond, however.

"I hear a dripping sound," says Ambassador Pierce visibly irritated. "Am I the only one hearing it? Ah yes, it must be that good old bottomless abortion money pit. Drip. Drip. Drip. The sovereignty, the money, the morals. They all go 'drip, drip, drip.'"

And the money goes drip, drip, drip out of the bottomless abortion money pit. The General Assembly needs to stop pretending it has limitless funds.

The World Assembly continues to grasp at a sovereignty it never enjoyed to begin with. Unsurprising. Don't worry, this will never get to a vote. I saw someone reiterate it earlier. It did, unfortunately. I happened to be away for a few days right when this submitted attending to RL matters. It look...

I just saw this a bit ago. It is ironic, needless to say, that a campaign that argues it is "democratic" is simultaneously propping up this resolution with NPA support. Needless to say, we continue to oppose this resolution.

(OOC: Roleplay as a whole is a total mess. There are nations with magic and aliens sat next to nations with 1960s era-tech and nothing else. Antisemitism is a valid criticism to lob at proposals in a GA context, because Judaism does exist in at least some canons, but shouldn’t be used as a basis fo...

If this resolution wants to ban circumcision, that would very much be wiping out Judaism. " Surely this procedure can simply wait until the patient is able to give their consent? I doubt this would sound the death knell for Judaism. " It wouldn't wipe out Judaism, no. But it would force J...
