That said, I'm still curious - why is it not encouraged to start them? The mods get annoyed by people wanting to start "promotional" threads for their orgs in the GA forum. But starting an organization in and of itself isn't necessarily discouraged, apart from the reason that it probably ...

FYI: An attempt by the NS UN to create an international currency: https://nationstates.ermarian.net/jolt/1225/526927 Nations did not have to adopt the currency (which is, I am assuming, why it was declared legal), but were encouraged to use it. However the proposal suffered from its own problems bey...

-53.10 Societal Mobility Rating

205,712th out of 205,831 - bummer; guess I miss out at being in the bottom 100. :(

With "Larry, Darryl and Darryl" now firmly dispatched, at least for the time being, Spence strode to the counter and signaled Violet for a beer. Unfortunately, the cute barhand was off doing other things -- probably retrieving some sawdust to clean up the floor around Sen. Sulla's usual ta...

I thought Tinis vowed to vote against all resolutions till a sapient rights act passed? Your memory's probably better than mine.

Although, they did promise to go back and recategorize some resolutions after they created the Healthcare category. I don't know if they ever did.

For the moment the "'andsome" Kennyite, clad in his usual smart black suit and sunglasses, did not see her, as his wandering dictatorial eye had lighted on much easier targets; namely, the bumbling trio of Secret Service agents by the stage, joking, clowning around, and giggling like privi...

I'll give it an 8. Maybe it should be a 7.5 - there are some punctuation and formatting problems to fix, but it does a good job setting the scene for Hobbes Dystopia's joyless and Kafkaesque society. Only got one factbook to rate: https://www.nationstates.net/nation=omigodtheykilledkenny/detail=fact...

What IA means to say, I think, is that for your ambassador to be affected would require someone to actually RP the committee -- which can always be ignored, of course. So in this case, at least, try taking Saddam's sage advice, and "relax, guy!" 8)

I suppose we should thank our lucky stars that Jack Riley is no longer our ambassador, and is soon bound for exile on Mars-- [coughs and sputters uncomfortably] -- er, I mean, a classified interplanetary-- er, international -- mission. Oh, and that Manuelo Fernanda was never a diplomat or attaché he...

It's purely a nonexistent role. No one is obliged to recognize Kuriko, even as a mere figurehead.

@SP: wasn't there a Secretariat of some sort appointed to enforce the rules?

You mistake voting for active participation. OOC: Not really. We have a higher amount of active drafters and posters than we have had in years. Activity here is at least twice what it was in 2017. Again, not worried. But the current culture here in the GA sucks. That at least should be worrisome.

OOC: I don't know how long it takes before gravedigging someone else's thread is no longer considered acceptable, but thanks nonetheless for gravedigging this one. It's condescending, asinine, not to mention insulting to many WA members. No offense, but next time, learn to leave well enough alone.
