I guess so, and I suppose that at the time that Mao's government proposes a hundred flowers it wasn't yet clear that they were going to be a regime that supressed free speech. I'll have a think about how to pitch that.

Would an architect say that you were raised perpendicular, to a right angle? :)

Thanks for the feedback, though!

Nope, architecture is weird. The distance from the front of the building to the back is called the depth. http://www.aucklanddesignmanual.co.nz/sites-and-buildings/apartments/guidance/the-building/principal-components-controlling-building-form/Building-depth I understand that in parts of the US buil...

Why would a young person feel that textspeak needs to be added to the curriculum? School-age folk already KNOW this stuff.

Surely she should be suggesting that older people should be educated in this?

Got to admit, I'd probably edit this one down to half the current length, even with doppelganger options. It just feels too much.

Recognise that styles vary, but this one feels like it has more than it needs to tell the story.

I agree with Aussie. I think a crime being prevalent can be a good issue, but there needs to be a more challenging moral question than "how do we stop this crime?" The question of electricity theft isn't any more interesting than that of chicken theft, or diamond theft, or car theft. Its j...

[DRAFT] Up His

Just learnt about Spite Houses from cracked.com. Thought it'd make a decent issue. Aware of mild overlap with 334, I think it's a different enough premise though. I don't think the writing is great, but the premise itself is pretty original and interesting.

Is their any real life precedent for this sort of thing?

Its kind of weak storytelling, this premise. Maybe reframe it to report on something that has happened, rather than just ministers being upset.

There's actually quite a lot of interesting law around boundaries and the like, for example to do with people treating a boundary as being elsewhere from where it actually is on plans, and that having some legal weight in many jurisdictions. TayAI to JayAI is fun, but it'd be more fun, in my opinion, to call it QanAI, and have it spout some QanOn-style nonsense in its option.

The core premise is okay, but the options are barmy. So you've got: Option 1: Invest to improve quality Option 2: Ban/reinstate capitalism Option 3: Abuse is good. That's terrible. I'd suggest a slightly different approach of: Option 1: Invest to improve quality of care homes. Option 2: No, you just...

My problem with this is that rubber ducks aren't hard to clean up or immediately dangerous to the biosphere, unlike an oil spill. Yes, I agree. I think the issue would make more sense for nations that don't have generally open borders, as then it'd be a case of easing freedom of movement vs lost tourist revenue.
