Call my use of vacation mode what you want - I call it a protest. > "You are complaining about a system that does not exist." I am complaining that someone made an unfathomable choice in taking away the time between issue choice and update - a time that could be used to re-check choices o...

I have, unfortunately, already tried out the 'no changing your choices' mode. I was not aware of the 'confirmation required' option, nor would I have imagined someone would implement a system where that is all that stands between a mis-click and screwed-up nation. Had I known the danger of the curr...

I still don't understand what was broken with a system that had the choice take effect at the next update. On rare occasions I clicked the wrong button, but always had the ability to fix it. Now it seems like we have sacrificed the ability to correct a mistaken click for - what? What has been gaine...

In any case, I don't why rushing the results on issue choices like this has been deemed necessary. One does not get new issue any faster. All it does is remove the safety margin for mistakes. I will say it again - I really think this should have been an optional feature. For example, instead of con...

...How long have you been gone? The issue system and the World Census got a big update. It was announced a month ago and rolled out two weeks later. There's no way you could have missed this. Even if you were gone, you should have been notified of unread News articles, which would have brought you ...

Due to a recent update on issues and the way rankings are awarded, your choices take effect immediately when you press the button. This is a very bad idea - at the very least, people should be able to opt out of this. What was wrong with having until the next update to fix any mistaken choices? If ...

Istantaneous Issue Choice Effects?

Hello all, Did something change recently with when an issue choice takes effect? It used to be an issue choice took effect at the next update, and until then one could change one's choice. However, in the last couple of weeks it seems things have changed - do issue choices now have an immediate - an...

How about the Pythagorians, a cult that worships pure mathematics? It's quirky and I like it, but do they pray and there are no miracles because the math takes the mystery out of it. Well, their prayer is reciting how one piece of mathematical understanding leads to another - like deriving a formul...

Character

Character Name: Aromendil Race: Elven (Tolkien style, not DnD style) Education: As one of the Eldar, he has been around for a very long time, and thus picked up a wide variety of lore, but with poor consistency. He has also been trained specifically as a military scout/spy. Because of his long life,...

Oh, well of course. It sounded at first like you were talking about turning this into a faction rp that'd take place all across the world. No, lore is what we need and that's acceptable. Just note that not many of the original residence are still alive and most that are have either been turned into...

Bug stalking

Yeah, I was thinking something was not right about that banner getting unlocked. If there is any more info I can provide or anything I can do to help track this apparent bug down, let me know. I'd even be willing to let a debugger take control of my country for a bit. Are the states of countries bac...

My country is only a few months old. Whatever theme I had when the glitch happened was the default theme (Rift?) and was what I began the game with.

I had not changed themes before. I just changed my theme to "antiquity" - will let it stay that way for a few updates then change it back to rift. I'm surprised the theme might affect banner unlocking though.

Splurious Banner Unlocking Bug?

Hello, I've seen on several occasions a banner for my nation made available that I thought had no reason to be made available (ie: unlocked). It seems the banner unlocking is usually triggered by certain conditions being met (ie: population, economy, etc), or by choosing a particular resolution of s...

I own my body, and the government should have _zero_ say in how I manage its care. Thus also I accept the consequences of all of the choices I make. If I choose to forgo health insurance I should not be penalized as this is my choice. However, I also should and do accept that I must forgo any health...
