My husband (wow, it still feels weird calling him that!) and me are currently looking to buy a house. Now, we recently found one we adore, and we've put an offer in. We don't have it yet, but there's a good chance we'll be getting it, so cross your fingers for us ;) Anyway, reason of this thread is...

Do you oppose the Lisbon treaty? The soon coming: United States of Europe and the European Union? Please debate. Personally, I despise it. Here is my reason: The EU's dream has been to take our independence away from each European country right from the start. This can cause outrage from patriots. ...

they took a tiny, tiny, maybe 1/2 cm long, blunt knife i used to keep in my camera case for helping to change lenses when the mechanism got stuck. maybe they thought i was going to hijack a chipmunk's plane or something

Period. If someone wants to get it for you, great. I don't happen to care about you at all, and I rese...

I can get to either the network config, or the firewall config (from the desktop) in three clicks, and I don't have to open 1-2 different windows to get there in-between (cough-Vista-cough)... You mean you don't have to go through an install wizard for most programs on windows? This is news to me. What's with the aversion to install wizards? I just mash the next button until it finishes itself. What's easier? Trying to figure out what the install wizard or asking you, or just telling the...
