In the last week of November 1963 they were known in some quarters as Stainmaster. Boo. I thought that was what they were called after the scandal in 2012. Actually the car was sent to Ford in Detroit immediately, so they were actually Stainmaster in 1963. I believe Linda Tripp was also a contender...

I believe the African American population in SC is in the 40-50 percentile range. Hillary is winning them 93-6 in one of the latest nationwide polls. Hello South Carolina! South Carolina's black population is 28%, behind Mississippi (37%), Louisiana (32%), Georgia (31%) and Maryland (29%). http://w...

McMullin could affect things in Utah, where almost everyone is Mormon, but IIRC, Mormons have an abysmal voter turnout rate. If that's true, it'll definitely diminish the chances of his campaign stealing very much of Trump's base in Nevada or Arizona. Still, Johnson polled at 16 percent today. Real...

They have no stats on the McMullin candidacy yet. Likely effect in Utah, maybe even NV and AZ which have significant Morman populations. MT is probably too red for it to matter, but it's an outside bc there's a bunch of Mormans there too. Clinton just won't get enough votes to hold up her end there...

Its not so much that I doubt Mormon country could flip. Its that going by the numbers, it would be a hell of an odd situation where all of the others I listed flipped and SC didn't, since SC looks like the next to flip in the nowcast. Well, I see South Carolina as the more blue-collar and Republica...

Utah will split because of Johnson and the CIA guy. If fivethirtyeight is anything to go by, I doubt that Montana, Utah, Missouri, and Indiana will flip and South Carolina won't . This based on your extensive knowledge of CIA operations? Frankly, we both know that the CIA has involved themselves in politics on many occasions, even when it is potentially scummy or not in the best interest of Americans. Just like any other US gov't agency. Except they get to have a "black...

You fall once and you're unqualified for the presidency, I guess. So how does that explain Gerald Ford? He was never elected Vice President or to the Presidency. His accidency is more accurate. Ford was only ever elected to a congressional seat in Grand Rapids MI. Maybe that explains it. :p

Johnson is NOT the official Mormon protest vote now. Actually, he never was. Plus he supports pot legalization nationwide (dear to my heart), not something Utahans want. So Johnson, I think can forget winning Utah. There's no "official" Mormon protest vote. I don't expect Mormons to suppo...

People, some ex-CIA write books about this stuff all the time. Then there is James Bond and all that too. I prefer the non-fictional books though, but I'm not quoting any in particular, so don't ask. The directorships of the various federal acronymnal agencies are political appointments. Often with...

Evan McMulllin is also a Mormon and could be a factor in Utah and swing states with significant Mormon populations such as Nevada. Mormons make up a disproportionate amount of the CIA because many of them are bilingual or multilingual due to their missionary trips. Furthermore, due to their culture...

Whatever puts Donald Trump in second place, or preferably, third or fourth place. There's already an acceptable NeverTrump / NeverHillary candidate named Gary Johnson. But bc of his stance on Marijuana, he's really not acceptable to Mormons. Now they have one of their own to vote for in the General...
