First off, Manning's gender status is NOT the topic of the thread. Stop trying to make it such. The topic is Obama's actions regarding Manning's sentence, which is irrelevant to whether there are ladybits or guybits or who recognizes what. Quit with the threadjack. He was a little freak Given your ...

So Trunks DESTROYED Merged Zamasu, and that must include Black's Time Ring. When Present Zamasu (who becomes Black) was erased from existence by Beerus, the only thing keeping Black from disappearing was the time ring he was wearing. So since Trunks destroyed Merged Zamasu and probably ...

Which is a big part of why I'm conflicted on Super retconning Potara fusion from "permanent outside of unusual circumstances" to "permanent for Kais, 1 hour for anybody else." On the one hand, it does provide a better explanation for why Vegito came undone inside Buu during ...

The OP also has a responsibility to the player to explain those physics in a way that can be readily and easily understood. Just like people playing Dungeons and Dragons have rulebooks so they understand what a THACO is, or an initiative roll, or how to do a skill challenge in athletics or in histor...

If your idea is too complex to explain, then you need to figure out how to explain it better. Your attempts at roleplay are disorganized and incomprehensible to the point of being spam. No one can understand what you are trying to say, and if we can't understand what you're trying to say, people can...

It's still half-assed if they expected this to catch on. Which from what I can gather, is what they wanted to see happen, at least in academic circles. It already has caught on in academia. Arch uses it, my professors at college used it, had a high school history class that used it... Hell, when I ...

I hope you realise just how OP Potara Fusion is. That's why it also had the major drawback of being allegedly permanent, effectively sacrificing both the characters involved in the process. The resulting fusion was stupidly powerful, above and beyond a mere addition of even multiplication of the co...

Obviously, the solution is that humanity needs to get off our collective asses and start working on the whole space colonies thing, so we can decide it's time to dump BC/AD/BCE/CE and switch over to Universal Century or After Colony calendars. </Gundam nerd> http://i.coastingfish.com/i/2016/02/19/8...

A discussion about Hillary's alleged corruption is not bloggy.

A thread OP that amounts to "HA HA SHE'S NOT GETTING MONIES NOW!" and offers no direction of discussion, or even a question to answer regarding the topic is little more than jumping up on a soapbox.

I can't imagine being a DB fan back in those days where seeing a new episode was actually dependent on TV broadcasting and licensing and junk. well maybe I can a little, I remember watching the final battle in GT when I was like 10 and then the power went out right as Goku was gonna throw the Spiri...

On an unrelated note: Does anybody else think that Goku Black is fanservice for the people who wanted an "Evil Goku", I mean was Turles not enough for them? Eh, maybe not outright fanservice, but definitely a nod to the rapid escalation in power levels over the course of the series. Mirro...

I think the issue boils down to the right to refuse a platform, and whether a website, as a private entity, can choose who it allows to use it as a platform. A newspaper is under no obligation to give a weekly column to anyone who asks for it. A television network is under no obligation to give air...

*sweatdrops* Speaking of the Buu saga... I had forgotten since the last time I watched it just how embarrassingly dorky Gohan is about the whole superhero thing when he first got the suit. The way he behaves about it in stuff like Xenoverse somehow manages not to be as cringe-inducing in its sheer d...

Buu should've ended with Vegeta's sacrifice I agree 200% I could get behind that. It did kinda completely gut the emotional impact of that scene and his sacrifice by having it be completely in vain, and barely any good as even a delaying maneuver. Like, at least let it have demolished Buu so thorou...

Sadly yeah, one of the series' biggest flaws is the narrative inconsistencies, whether resulting from Toriyama's shortcomings or due to executive meddling. There's some really cool ideas, they just get clumsy or lackluster execution, especially in the Android and Buu sagas. =/

Y'know, the most significant aspect of Dragon Ball is how it highlighted how studying world religions can give people a greater appreciation and understanding of cultures and fiction, particularly through the presence of Chinese traditional religion as well as Chinese Buddhism in the story of Drago...
