Bethesda is one of those companies that is slowly but surely evolving into something like EA or worse. It took them 4 years to make Oblivion after releasing Morrowind. It took them 5 years to make Skyrim after Oblivion. But now, here we are, 9 years after Skyrim with nothing to show for it except S...

I started playing this early access game, Stoneshard, on Steam. It's a pretty hardcore rogue-like, but it's pretty fun. It reminds me of, like, Nethack and Darkest Dungeon had a lovechild.

Das Boot. The 1997 director's cut, I think. Excellent movie. I think it's a new favorite of mine, in all honesty.

Productivity

People don’t usually acknowledge the beauty around them. Everyone is always busy doing things, they never stop to just look around, take in their surroundings, think about how long it took for their cities and towns to be built, and what had to be sacrificed to create them. The next time you’re on y...

"I often hear people state that one Barboneian soldier is worth at least ten North Lander militiamen. I agree. But the question, I propose, is what do you do when the eleventh one comes?" - Benjamin Penttilä, musing.

Fallout 4 .44 suck as it slow as it's not double action and the sound sucks. Makes me miss FO3 and FONV .44 when playing FO4. The trail carbine in NV, which was chambered in .44, was nuts. That shit carried me through most of the midgame and Old World Blues. Fuckin' love lever action weapons, man. ...

So Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 are getting a remake I'm actually kinda hype. I was just thinking about Pro Skater 2 recently, and how much fun I had with it back in the day, but how ass it looks now. Its by the same people who made the Crash Bandicoot remakes, so it'll likely be done in a way that...

Well, I decided to splurge a bit and buy some of the DLC for Stellaris because they had a sale on them for the anniversary (except for Federations, the bastards). I'm excited to play the game with the new stuff but I know I'm just going to be playing the same old United Nations of Earth but that's o...

If you're talking about this whole bit, self-destruct did help inspire the mod, but generally unless you're at the highest level possible you die immediately. My understanding was that self-destructing always left you with a tiny sliver of health. So no, it's not normal to play through without her ...

Finished the game Shardlight after powering through it in one long session (it was 6 hours for me). Good game, I liked the narrative, and I really liked the aesthetic of the world they were going for. I wish they offered more choices to effect the game like the devs eventually did with Unavowed and ...

Arma 3 is only 9 bucks right now and the Apex DLC is only 7.50. They also released the Old Man scenario for it which looks dope.
