Resolution 19, Child Protection Act covers this. Resolution 51 covers Humanitarian Aid. GAR #19 really only covers and tries to prevent child abuse , and GAR #51, one of your resolutions and a very good resolution, really only applies to disasters, natural and manmade. I looked at both of these res...

Otherwise I am going to declare my nuclear weapons 'not technically nuclear weapons', my greenhouse gases 'not technically greenhouse gases' and my rolling meth ...

If personhood has begun, then, no, she can't obtain an abortion. So you're forcing a woman to carry a child that she would rather see dead? You may think you're being all noble, but you're forcing women to accept something that's painful. If a woman is forcibly held against her will, impregnated, t...

Why would a woman have an abortion after the 24th week of pregnancy? Why wouldn't she just induce pregnancy (i.e., have the child, or give birth, early)? I've already answered why a woman would want to have an abortion after the 24th week of pregnancy. At least in certain cases. I can answer for ot...

REAL WORLD EXAMPLE ( ): Even the then socially progressive U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that personhood begins at viability. NOTE: I don't know if you are or are not American. My nation, too, recognizes personhood from fertilization. This proposal requires personhood to be recognized " before or during the 24th week of pregnancy." This proposal forces people to accept something they may not believe. Again, who are you to meddle in what people believe from a rel...

Recognising fetal personhood is a question for each nation to address on their own. It is not something the GA should address due to the differences in religion and spiritual beliefs, or lack thereof. You say personhood starts at 24 weeks. The Imperial Republic believes it begins at conception. I'm ...

I believe 41 ambassadors is a decent cross-section. Even the most popular polls don't have more than a few hundred nations vote. Are you forgetting that some Delegates have hundreds of votes at their disposal? You get those against the proposal and it will likely fail. Therefore, 41 representatives...

We've got lots of issues with it. However, since the kittens are not human, it doesn't apply to them, not to mention those in the Imperial Republic are also not human.
