Is of much niceness. However you may want to mount the bipod on the front of the stockmchassis rather than directly to the barrel. Whoops. I accidentally mooved it from its original place. The bipod is meant to be removable from attaching it to the barrel via a screw. Which then it opens up https:/...

Hi, I'm extremely new to NS in general, could anyone guide me on managing to make a coherently formatted factbook and thought-out signature? Many thanks to any responding to what feels like an extremely out-of-place post. This might help https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=25687...

The Octopus, Kirkhill The Kingdom of Crookfur As the early morning sunlight seeped its way around the heavy drapes of the royal apartments, King Cameron (The 4th of his name) luxuriated in the calm and quiet that preceded the start of another busy day of meetings and events. However as he relaxed h...

I have this starter set of SPESS MUHREENS and PLAGUH MUHREENS for Christmas, but I haven't put the figures together. Is gluing up models hard? Not in the slightest these days, particularly with plastic models. Heck depending on what stater set you got you might not even need any polystyrene cement....

Blue and Red is an improvement over the douchey "Have we mentioned we are the good guys today" Blue and Yellow combo the old Ultramarines had. IIRC that was just the 2nd company which is what they used to paint all the ultramarine they featured in box art and WD(back when WD only ever had...

Really cool.

Do GW still have the entire ultramarine chapter they did in the 90s?

I've been overcome by a question that intrigues me. What possessed the Germans to give Tornado IDS 2 guns? As said because it needed to be able to strafe. Its probably also a development of all the proceeding European combat aircraft where twin defas/adens had been pretty much standard since the 50s.

So they are basically current day mechanised/armoured infantry... Any attempt at commonality would involve limiting the effectiveness of your rifle drastically, particularly if facing peer level forces with any kind of post Ww1 body armour. The only way you might get close to this kind of concept wo...

That probably wouldn't cut it in the long term, they would need some sort of agriculture/livestock to survive. Not sure where they're getting fuel either now that you mentioned it. Is there coal or oil in Antarctica? I know it used to be forested millions of years ago. IIRC there were some strandin...

First time posting in the discussion, but I figured this would be a well enough place to ask for input. What's everyone's ideas of equipping mounted infantry with "perfect pairs" - that is to say issuing them rifles and pistols that take the same ammunition. I was thinking of doing such f...

nothing related to my air force but what would be the viability of an upgraded Stealth version of the F-14 Tomcat? also it could come in handy for the air forces of my puppet nations. Adding features to the f-14 would probably need you to design and build entirely new airframes at which point an en...

I'm not sure how you would base them on naval units but certain the marines could work as specialists in fighting on watery worlds or as drop troops.

What's your favorite Space Marine Chapter?(Mine are the Space Wolves). Mine used to be the space wolves 100‰ and despite the furrification issues that have evolved they are still my no1 but the salamanders and raven guard are getting very close. As Crookfur noted, it seems a little on the heavily-armed side of things. And the number of weapons is rather odd too; 72 ESSMs is a lot for a relatively short-ranged self-defense missile. It's a huge number if you're carrying them in Mk 29 box launchers but not enough to otherwise fill the VLS. An...

Surely like all tools swords are simply neutral and incapable of being good or evil?
How would one argue that a sword is inherently "good" and would this moral judgement apply to all swords or just specific examples?

Alright, but I am asking how many rounds is a soldier likely to go through per day in intense operations? More than they can carry, hence the platoon Sgt running around doling out additional ammo. A light order load would likely be about 6 magazines where as full battle order would be 10 plus a pou...
