Fun little game for Paradox players like us, who stare at maps all day. Name off as many cities as you can, win free internet points. I went to 100, my brain was highly arbitrary about what got chosen at any given moment. I got to 233 before I started cheating too much. You get one guess as to whic...

I do not know much about EUIII. I thought HOIIII and CIVIII sucked, but I guess some of these things are just matters of personal preference. HOI3 was great! You made a great big battle plan that failed miserably then you spent the Winter of 43 airlifting potatoes to your starving soldiers still ho...

I just forgot the golden rule of Paradox games, which is "Never trust your allies to do anything properly." I'm playing EU4 as England and I keep getting into wars with France where my allies and I outnumber them almost 2 to 1, but my allies are dicking around trying to siege in Burgundy i...

One thing that CK3 should have is "equivalent" names (i.e. Karl, Charles, Carlos, etc. or Ludwig, Louis, Lodewijk, etc.) where your name, alongside your "surname", change when your culture does. Or where you get the option of picking a new name. CK2 already has equivalent first ...

I finally got around to 1453 in my Lombard, Sardinia and Corsica, etc game, and I didn't get the Survivor achievement, presumably because the checksum fucked up at some point even though I played the whole time in ironman mode. Ha ha ha kill me. Anyway, Political mapmode. Notice based nominally-Iris...

After I finally finish this godforsaken game where I accidentally an emperor, the only way I want to touch the HRE in CK2 ever again is to dismantle it. It is an empire built on depravity, deceit, greed, arrogance, and defensive pacts.

And I really fucking hate defensive pacts.

A few months into me being Emperor, literally all of my king level vassals declared an independence war against me, once again proving that no one except me should ever be allowed to own land, and those who are given land anyway and subsequently use it against me should be forced to eat their own in...

Ya'll ever accidentally an empire before? I noticed one of my fellow HRE vassals created a faction to install me as the HREmperor. I joined it for shits and giggles, not expecting the guy to actually press the issue, even more not expecting him to actually succeed. So yeah, now instead of gently pu...

I want to get my hands on some of that pure, uncut Watch Dogs: Legion and inject it directly into my veins. I don't want to wait until October, give it to me now. Same. I already pre ordered it. I honestly loved the first watch dog game. And I cannot wait for this one. I've never played the first W...

Tfw your own wife kidnaps you for no reason and makes you pay 250 gold to leave. and then does it again a few years later She must be amazing in bed to be able to get away with this, especially more than once. If it keeps happening and it proves to be more than just an inconvenience, her skull is g...

I think my Rimworld storyteller has gotten tired of me failing to recruit any new colonists because it's sent me three single-person raids and an escape pod crash in two days.

I really need my Rimworld colonists to do me a favor and stop mangling the limbs and organs of the people raiding us. There have been several raiders that I've captured that I ended up just letting go because, while I would love to have another person in my colony, they're missing so many body parts...

Remind me to never appoint Doctor Bralia here to be my court physician. If you're a perfectly normal, healthy human being (no added benefits like Strong, no unusual maluses like Bedridden) with a good doctor and receive good treatments, something which is very consistently possible, you can actuall...

Do I need max radar and AA in Montana? Sure, why not. With how i was building up America in that run every state would have been a literal fortress by the end. Nothing but bunkers, factories, AA batteries and field guns as far as the eye can see. And fucking giant airports. If those darned Nazis ev...

I just got Rimworld a few days ago and I'm enjoying it so far. I panicked before my first winter started in my longest-running game so far and now have way too much raw food lying around. I can't wait to find out how that will somehow become more of a problem than having too little food would have b...

Are these minors even really playable in HOI4? I mean, you are tiny, start with a tiny industry and manpower and don't get any better ever. I tried to play as Cuba once. It was kinda neat to not have to worry about multiple fronts and stuff and just be able to babysit the handful of units I sent as...

Doom 2016 was this for me, didnt like it the first time i played it but then i got it on gamepass on xbox and ended up having a lot of fun to the point i bought Eternal a few days later when it came out...

Has anyone else ever had the problem of bishops in CK2 randomly converting to other religions? I've noticed Catholic bishops convert to other religions, namely Judaism and Orthodox, for no reason in my Lombard game recently. I don't have religious cults turned on and they were both under Catholic ru...

For anyone who has played Just Cause 4, how do you like it? I just started playing and the first few missions are awful. Escort mission, escort mission, that mission from GTA: San Andreas where you have to defend against the waves of RC planes, escort mission, stunt mission with the clunky and slow...

[...] that mission from GTA: San Andreas [...] https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/017/654/7n9vs1q7.jpg I'm going to be perfectly honest, I never found what's supposed to be so hard with that mission. People just drive too close to the train so Smoke can't get an angle to shoot at the ...
