I really should read the OP properly - I went straight to the list and missed the bit about your's and Xoriet's involvement in this.

*gives BBD a cookie*

I'd probably have skipped right to the list too, so I understand :-P

"Empire" refers to The Empire of The East Pacific, the rogue government of The East Pacific under "Lady Phedre" in 2008. More broadly, it's used to describe the four individuals who comprised the core group of this rogue government: Minineenee (Lady Phedre), Biyah (Lord Rahl), D...

How does the recruiter being banned curtail recruiting? The AdSpam is still on the RMB until it is pushed off, able to be viewed, thus serving its purpose. The nation that posted it cannot return. And TGing is still allowed, and is being encouraged.

Am I missing something?

I wonder, if a mod or two could stand to spend a little time in GP land. Just to get to know us a little. I don't mean becoming an update raider/defender or tracker or spy or anything so time consuming. Come to the forums with a silly little throw away (WA)puppet. (A WA nation would help you unders...

The problem isn't that influence didn't take care of the problem it was created to take care of... The problem is that it's created impenetrable walls of power for relatively few nations. I suppose, yes. But still, that is a side-effect created as a result of solving the original problem. Gameplaye...

Ardchoille, sleep? Cat-naps and coffee. I know a few are making it by on that, and it's how I played NS for years (except for mine included wine. Wine, naps, coffee, the rest of RL) I actually got sidetracked by the sleep thing, so I'll have to reread to see if I have more substantial comments. >_>

It did make sense, thank you and I meant it was a start for me to start to understand. Dali, the old intel days were fantastic! I miss those times.
Was the same time when it made perfect sense to me to pull all-nighters to watch the battles for regions (and, of course, the IRC battles that went with them). Those were fun too :-P

Hmm, the 'younger generation' I'd been discussing looks to be Lotophagi Generation on your scale here...

TWP once or twice, depending on what Eli's thing was considered, and TEP once (The Empire).

There were, of course, other attempted ones that sadly just didn't pan out.

Re: An Analysis of NationStates Generations

This is actually an interesting read, seeing the generations classified is a little fun. I'd just recently been discussing that younger generation of NSers in comparison to myself and the group I tend to deal with.

I was founded Fall of 2003 sometime, so I suppose that makes me Zelus.
